  1. QUOTE(Balta1701 @ Apr 28, 2006 -> 10:19 AM) Freddy...the Angels are leading the west. This is our first trip there since the ALCS. They're going to be booing. It's going to be a big crowd. This is what we in the fan-biz call "A big game". Oh, and you're also pitching on the road. (I feel like we have to convince him of these things now a days.) Go get em Freddo. And Bats...you're facing Jeff Weaver...it's time to re-awaken! Booing indeed...I love it. In fact, can we get Doug Eddings assigned to cover the series?
  2. QUOTE(SpringfieldFan @ Apr 26, 2006 -> 11:43 AM) And the rest: Yeah, but I will take him over either of them Sorry I didn't credit the sources of the quotes, but you know who you are. Check the thread out though, its awesome. SFF I like the "imagine him blowing people away in the playoffs". Yes, imagine, indeed. Someday he'll be immortalized on DVDs and McDonald's commercials.
  3. QUOTE(Shamrock4Life @ Apr 25, 2006 -> 02:45 PM) the cubs don't bother me too much, when they lose its ok, when they win its ok. i really don't care. its the cub fans that i can't deal with. but i am sure most cub fans feel the same way. best chirstmas present ever is giving your whole extended family dvds of the world series dvd. one just got up and left the party all angry. now that was funny. oh and your brother-in-law is right in some respects and others is not. the stadium should be pretty damn close to full on half price night when the team is as good as it is now. drunk annoying people suck ass, but drunk happy people rule. but the only time to b**** about those things is after the game not before or during. The cubs don't bother me too much either. In fact, it wouldn't bother me at all if wrigley field fell on top of itself brick by brick this exact second.
  4. Put me in the wait-and-see category. More than 3.2 ip anyhow. Now, if the trend Logan has exhibited lately continues over the next ten days/two weeks and Lopez is lights out in Charlotte, then you make the move. But not yet.
  5. QUOTE(WinningUgly85 @ Apr 24, 2006 -> 06:29 PM) does anyone know exactly whats wrong with his back? Is this something that could lead to further damage if he played or is it just regular day in day out back pain? I'm gonna say it might be his delivery of his pitches that could have caused this injury to develop maybe he needs a new approach. I don't have a clue on what needs to be done in these situations but I know that there are drugs to make the pain go away. Like Brett Favre he took a pain killer, I wouldn't condone such actions for anyone but what exactly is wrong with Dustin Hermanson. Not exactly sure what's wrong with the back, but i can tell you I watched a game down the left field line late last season, and Dustin didn't sit down once in the pen - it must be murder on him to sit. Also, from what I've heard, he felt pretty good this spring until he started throwing.
  6. QUOTE(kyyle23 @ Apr 22, 2006 -> 09:55 PM) Ozzies transitions are pretty funny too "This kid here...(Dees Keed here)" Or like Tadahito when he sez "ummm". If you were listening to the Score on Sunday morning, you know what I'm talking about.
  7. Pedro Lopez, get that ring finger sized up, amigito.
