Vargas has NEVER had a massive strikeout problem and inability to hit the opposite handed pitcher. Look, no one is saying 'get rid of Kolson!', moreso 'maybe he won't be the savior that some lauded him as, and moreso 'a guy' with some power.

Fedde did what Fedde does: keep us in the game. Unfortunately, we've found no way to hit Cy Young winner Bailey Ober.

You have to show the ability to change what you're doing, at some point. This is the same approach seemingly since Opening Day from CM. He definitely has value, I'm just not sure its 'superstar shortstop' at this point, more of a 'power bat who can play a couple of infield positions if needed'.

There is a non-zero chance Colson finishes under .210 for the year. Are we still going with the 'he's still young' approach, or perhaps are we ready to consider this is just who he is?
