  1. Holy cow, I did say it'd be 7-10 games before we saw Colas again. What a freakin' joke. Hi Mom.
  2. Holy cow, how did I not immediately mention Moustakas....you're right.
  3. Agreed. Why find out what we have in the younger kids, when we can probably go find an aging has been FA? Maybe we can ask David Wright or Adrian Beltre to come out of retirement, to really push this roster into overdrive!
  4. I hate this organization, from top to bottom.
  5. Agreed, once we got past the completely false facade of 'this team can be competitive' that we all knew wasn't the case, it should 100% have shifted to the kids playing daily.
  6. Honestly, I could take the piles of Ls, if you told me we were running a lineup similar to below, to see what we had: C : Lee 1B: Vaughn 2B: Sosa SS: DeJong (there has to be a little vet presence) 3B: Ramos LF: Boat Anchor contract/DomFletch CF: Robert RF: Colas DH: Eloy until he is hurt again (7-10 days), Sheets afterwards Losses are coming easily enough, with these 'veterans' that we so dearly wanted to give playing time to, play the kids with potential and see what you have.
  7. Man, I think the thing that is so frustrating right now, is that the young pieces on the roster are indeed fun to watch....but we're stuck with a clown manager who still thinks playing these vets with no future on the team, to save his own ass, is more important.
  8. Makes sense. Guys like Sheets, Pham, those are the ones you want to give ABs to. They have a huge influence on the future of the organization, obviously. To be fair, not like he won't be back up within 14 games if he is sent down for Eloy.
  9. Colas gets a start on June 13th against Seattle, goes 3 for 4.... Proceeds to get a whopping 2 ABs in the next 6 GAMES. Total assclown running this team.
  10. If the big market franchise was being treated like a big market franchise, I'd agree with that. 1.8 million is 2.4% of the LARGEST CONTRACT IN FRANCHISE HISTORY (75 mil) so....yeah, not as insignificant when you have a tightass in charge.
  11. 14 K's in 24 ABs in June. I'm rooting for the kid, and he is still super young, but there is definitely a lot to work on.
  12. Right, but he already has 40 K's in 81 ABs. That is astronomical considering where he is currently playing. Hopefully, it can only improve.
  13. George Wolkow's K rate is going to be a sight to behold...
  14. Oh...I just noticed the box score (haven't been keeping up).....16 K's today, what a team.
  15. Just a reminder: Maldonado has had 2 hits total, since May 1st. He also has 7 hits.....TOTAL.
  16. Agreed, I think Cannon needs to stay in the 'pen for the rest of 2024. Let Thorpe come up, hopefully not be awful, and actually if they are going youth movement, cut one of the has-beens from the bullpen, and let Nastrini work out of it for now as well.
  17. 43 years as the Sox owner, setting clear spending patterns on what he will and will not do. We've had an all time high of 75 million dollars, for a FA contract. But I'm sure at age 88, he's going to completely change that, because 'advisors'.
