More on the RIAA
Jesus, there are SO MANY more meaningful reasons for litigation in our country, yet now we are gonna have the RIAA and their zoot-suit lawyers take the $8,000 a year making college students to court and actually try to squeeze out money that they lost by having to pay out for price fixing. Sounds like Nimrod central to me.

Koch
It doesnt matter how good Foulkes numbers are, the guy was outta here after 2003..no way in hell was he coming back to an organizatio headed my KW and JM. Like I said, if Kochs performance is all we have to worry about, then the team isn't doing too bad.

For those at the park I heard in the past....
I'm only 17 and I started listening to Dave at about 13. That's about when I started listening to music after I realized I was growing out of the eat, sleep, and drink sports stage. Found a cd in my brothers room popped it in and it just so happened to be Before These Crowded Streets. I'm thinking of just closeting my obsession for Dave cuz I don't want to be classified as one of those pothead frat boys. I definitely wish they weren't as mainstream as they are. Pearl Jam and Bob Marley (a little diverse) are my two other favorites so maybe I'll lose that DMB avatar before people start classifying me. Sorry for hijacking this thread I've always been and always will be a fan of Thomas. As much as I like Maggs and Buehrle I just don't pull for them like I do for Frank. Always has been, and probably always will be my favorite (on-field) sox player. naaa..sorry, just anytime i see DMB stuff..i have bad recalls...now Pearl Jam, there ya go...keep the avatar

NOOOOOO!! Jason, you had so much going for ya, and then you defend DMB.... greppson, its hard to explain...my senior year in HS, and my 1st 2 years in college, that DMB garbage got shoved down my throat 24/7 at 1st i actually liked it...but then...ugh..enough is enough...they are like the typical college students "idea" of non-mainstream music, when actually they are more bland, radio-programmed crap then most anything else

I was thinking the exact same thing Welcome, Greppson Thanks for pulling out the welcome doormat for me. Started hanging around this board awhile ago. Beats reading all the non-baseball, idiotic talk going on at chisox.com. I can tell this board has a little bit more intelligence, and whole lot more sox fans. Oh, you were doing good greppson until you pulled out the Dave Mathews Band avatar...thats a loss of MAJOR cool points

Koch
DING, DING!!!! We have a winner....thats exactly what I've been saying...but its easier for Sox fans to say, Koch sucks...I guess if thats our biggest problem right now, we are doing ok.

Koch
- Kelvim Escobar
I'm not sure why so many people are so sold on getting Escobar...the guy is the definition of inconsistency. His WHIP always sucks, he has been God Awful at home this year, he has averaged almost a walk every other inning for his CAREER, I just think there HAS to be someone out there in AAA or AA that we can use to eat innings instead of going to get someone, and gicing up more minor league talent.- Koch
Yeah, but too bad, cause he ain't going anywhere...- Aaron Rowand
Heres what I say...whats the reason for trading Lee at all? Everett walks after this year, and we can leave it as Lee, Rowand, Ordonez in the OF....we don't need 30+ HRs at every position..Rowand is needed, because he has shown no reasons as to why he shouldnt be playing everyday...he does what is asked of him, gives everything he has in the outfield, and simply, he is hitting the ball well. I have no problem with him playing everyday, let Everett play LF, Lee DH, Frank at 1B...and JM can tinker from there...the kid deserves to play everyday, plain and simple.- Middle Relief
Not so well so far... Player W-L ERA G GS CG SHO SV IP H R ER HR HB BB SO WP AVG Wright, Danny 0-3 5.04 6 6 0 0 0 25.0 22 15 14 4 2 7 20 0 .239- Koch
and I will say that he will be back..and leave it at that...I've reached my Koch defense limit for the night...thanks for the debate...- Koch
He is by no means a consistent pitcher...look at his career stats...one year he is dominant...next year, WHIP over 1.5, which is garbage for a reliever called upon for 1-2 innings. All I know is what I read and see myself, and I know that any player who whines about "roles" are petty. Yeah Koch talked this year too, but all he said is that he is the closer, not "Why am I not closing games, thats my 'role'." No one wants to hear pitchers piss and moan about what they are used for in the heat of a pennant race.- Koch
I am sure that he is a pile of crap...but I'll regress a little...he shouldn't have been out there for 3 innings really..but then again, when your starter puts you in that position, and your bullpen is overworked from an extra inning game, not many options. So, where does that leave us? I guess in the fact that we had no 5th starter, and it hurt us the most today.- Koch
No, White is a pile of crap..who cries when he doesnt know "his role" on the team. Porzio was probably just happy to be in MLB...Koch, he just pitches.hurt, unable, doesnt matter, he just wants to pitch, and he genuinely wants to do whats best for the team. More than i can say for White and Fatolo.- Koch
Yeah, 1 run, and thats 89% less than they scored on the rest of the team...someone has to diagnose his problem, it doesnt seem to be much of a priority to the staff, and I'm confused...Billy is a gamer, and he is gonna go out there everytime his number is called, whether he is physically capable or not(more than i can say for Fatolo, BTW) if they are waiting for him to tell them the problem, they are gonna be waiting a while.- Hmmm...Suppan?
The Daubach signing was a no-lose situation...don't see how that was a bad move, we needed a lefty bat on the bench...- Koch
and i will continue to defend him, even now at his current status, he is better than Rick White...and he got himself in trouble with control tonight, and minimized the damage. He will either have to use what he has now, or go DL and figure out the velocity drop cause. WTF, we shouldnt even be talking about Koch after this game, yet we always come back to the same subject. Lets talk about Rich White...his 6+ ERA, his mouth that has been talking about, "I don't know my role." Your goddamn role is to not give up 5 f***ing runs to the Devil Rays...your role is to get people out. Hell, Koch at least got through 2 innings, and pitched OVER his problems...White cant say the same.- Could have been a different game, IF
It is unfortunate because Rowand was really starting to hit when they got Everett, for apparently no reason other than to make the stockholders and fans think they were making a run at it , "hey they must be, tey are buying instead of selling." Well, it has cost one of the guys that was getting hot not to have anywhere to play, when he should be in CF everyday. - Kelvim Escobar
