Holy crap. Tadahito doesn't even cover second on a groundball to short. These guys have simply given up on this game. Wow Ozzie has done a horrible job keeping this team up, motivated and playing hard.

This guy Bernero is the 16th starting pitcher the Royals have used this year. That means that the Royals thought 15 other pitchers in their horrible organization were better than this guy and he is completely shutting us down. What in the hell is wrong with our guys?

In Major League Baseball, you can't "just show up" against anyone and expect to win. Stupid hitting, bad pitching and lacadaisical defense against any major league team leads to an embarassing loss. This loss is shameful.

Wow, poor pitching by Count leads to another run and lazy defense gives Grudz an extra base. He's 3/4 of the way to the cycle.

The Royals are a AAA team for god's sake. Not even a GOOD AAA team and they are hammering count like it is batting practice. So how many effective starting pitchers do we have now? One?

The Royals put up a 6-spot on count? He should be freaking ashamed. I heard a few boos in the crowd. He deserved many more.

The problem is that usually when Rivera pitches for the third game in a row, he still dominates.

It's amazing how BMac can do no wrong, even when he does wrong. His ERA is over 4 and pretty much everyone still acts like the sun shines out of his arse. He certainly hasn't pitched like an ace-to-be this season. There's lots of trouble in the rotation, but BMac doesn't fill me with confidence that he'd fix it.

Ozzie has to leave him in so he has the chance to get the W. That is what baseball is all about: pitchers wins.

With all due respect, why would any team that "wants to compete now" trade for Garcia? How does a 4.90 ERA help a team compete? Given how his stuff has turned to hamburgers, why would any team expect him to return to his old form?

Trading Garcia sounds good, but these factors will lead to us getting little for him: 1. Horrible performance this season. 2. His stuff looks horrible, which makes it look like this season's downturn isn't just a fluke. 3. He's not at an age where you expect him to develop and improve. 4. He's making a hell of a lot of money. Expect the Sox to get minor talent for him, and to give up some millions to the "lucky" team that acquires him.

Not enough realism. Not enough really looking at this team and how is has played. Not enough recognition of the fundamental flaws in this team.
