  1. QUOTE (Texsox @ May 3, 2009 -> 07:01 AM) Would you eliminate then all *investigations* like this? It seems pretty easy to decide after the investigation, which ones should have been conducted. Yes.
  2. It doesn't help that Chryslers cars are all usually in the bottom of their respective classes in terms of value, depreciation, quality, reliability, desirability, etc. At least Ford and GM have improved their model lines lately.
  3. ITS NOT THE OBAMA ADMINISTRATION. ITS THE UN AND THE CDC AND THE WHO. ITS EPIDEMIOLOGISTS AND DOCTORS AND MEDICAL PROFESSIONALS. I have not seen one epidemiologist (or even doctor for that matter) calling for border closures. This is not an Obama thing and turning it into one is just ridiculous.
  4. CJ posts on a automotive forum I frequent. He's a nice guy. I hope we go yard off of him multiple times.
  5. Alexi makes some fantastic plays to go along with really dumb errors.
  6. Konerko reminds me of Eeyore whenever he does the pop-up shoulder shrug.
  7. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 1, 2009 -> 07:55 PM) someone told me the fault line there could do more damage than the san andreas. I'll defer to Balta. The New Madrid doesn't go often, but when it does, it can be a big one. Thome with a 3R double!
  8. QUOTE (Kalapse @ May 1, 2009 -> 07:40 PM) Maybe it's just too hot out. This team really hits well when its 73.4* with 46% humidity and a 10-12 MPH SW wind. That's when the bats really come alive.
  9. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 1, 2009 -> 07:38 PM) feldman is feasting on the outside part of the plate. do you see anyone trying to go the other way? Guys who throw junk off the plate have always shut down this team.
  10. QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ May 1, 2009 -> 07:37 PM) do fans of other teams experience this level of frustration? I have to believe so. Imagine having not won in 2005. Welcome to the world of Cubs fans.
  11. This game is almost unwatchable. How does this team hold its own against Roy Halladay but consistently gets shut down by garbage pitchers year after year?
  12. Good swing JD. It was close. Where's Jack McDowell, he usually did good fill-ins.
  13. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 1, 2009 -> 05:44 PM) lol, you can't be serious Where'd I leave that straw man at....
  14. QUOTE (G&T @ May 1, 2009 -> 07:20 PM) I'm watching the Ranger's feed, but is the answer Nolan Ryan? It was "how many times have the sox been no-hit" I hit reply as Quentin was getting his hit and breaking up the no-no.
  15. The one time I watched Man vs. Wild, he just happened to find a "wild" worse that he was going to try to ride. He got pretty close to it; much closer than any wild horse would let a person get. That was all I needed to know how phony it was.
  16. QUOTE (sf_soxfan @ May 1, 2009 -> 07:06 PM) Kinda fun to see Pods again, tho I've been accused of being sentimental before Masochist is more accurate.
  17. That is insane. I still might do it, though.
  18. QUOTE (rangercal @ May 1, 2009 -> 12:57 PM) the last question is the most interesting http://sports.espn.go.com/chat/sportsnatio...46&sCat=428 Who the hell thinks that not even a classic for the first round?
  19. QUOTE (mr_genius @ May 1, 2009 -> 11:22 AM) FOX news might be total hackery as far as news goes, but they have excellent ratings. they're not really in the 's***ter'. QUOTE (lostfan @ May 1, 2009 -> 11:28 AM) I don't think anybody's debating that either unbiased, but to act like one is different than another or that MSNBC is "worse" than Fox is pretty pointless, even borderline stupid. You could go in circles for hours with those arguments. BTW mr. genius - StrangeSox's post was more mocking than anything else, you notice he just directly copy/pasted. MSNBC isn't really in the s***ter either. when I read genius' post, I was thinking "WTF? I didn't type that." mr., I just cp'd BearSox' post and replaced MSNBC with Fox and JG with AC.
