  1. QUOTE(chiguy79 @ Aug 14, 2006 -> 01:04 PM) Interestingly, the Sox, Tigers and Twins have very similar strength of schedule remaining, the Yankees have the easiest schedule and the red sox have the hardest. The # of road games we have worries me, makes it even more important to finish off this home stand strong, the west coast road trip is also coming up. The A's also have a much easier schedule than the Angels, assuming the Yankees and A's win their divisions I would almost rather win the WC and play the yankees than dealing with Oakland...I guess it is a pick your poison scenario, of course if our pitching comes into form we can beat anyone. It would be nice to get a cushion over Boston/Min for the WC.. i don't care who we play, we can beat anyone
  2. ya i checked out a few Tiger forums and i'd have to agree with RME JICO, alot of them concede that the White Sox and even the Yanks are just better than them right now and alot has to happen for them to hold onto the lead. Most of them are not saying the White Sox were lucky.

  10. QUOTE(SoxFan101 @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 02:58 PM) This is the 4th straight start I think Freddy has kept us in the game.. so barring a meltdown next inning im happy with what Freddy did for us today. me too, he really tightened up for the 5th and 6th, except for those LONG flyballs QUOTE(WSoxMatt @ Aug 13, 2006 -> 02:59 PM) They havent used Zumaya or Jones yet and Rodney and Walker didnt work much...their pen hasnt been used too much so far well, including who they use for the remainder of the 3.2 innings plus the Verlander game, i think it was decent. Obviously yesterday didn't use em much.
