About right now....

While I'll be happy to be in the playoffs, this team has raised the bar this year and I have to admit, I will be disappointed if they make the playoffs and win the division and then bow out early......as far as going .500 vs Chicago.....if we do that, we'll win the division......

I didn't say anything about forfieting any series....my point is that Jones is pitching much better since getting healthy........and you have to admit that the best chance for you to win a game in this series was tonight.....besides the big guy, your starting pitching hasn't been nearly as good as it was last year... As far as proving ourselves by beating you, I'd have it no other way....to be a champion, you have to beat the champion......should be a fun summer.....

Jones' last 10 games...... 1-0, 7 saves, 0.90 ERA (only run was a HR to Pujols) We'll see how happy you are next week....I think you need to worry about getting swept in NY before you start talking about Detroit....

I agree......I think if you ask any Tigers fan they would almost all agree that Jones is the guy that scares them the most....although to be fair, he was injured earlier in the year, and it took him a while to get his legs back......he has been pretty good lately and hasn't blown a save in quite a while.........

Our rookie who throws over 100 mph has one bad inning and they're cooling down? I don't think so....this kid could just as easily strike out the side next time out....just a bad inning.......

Not today......Tigers gave the M's their chance to win a game this series last night......Detroit is going to crush them today.........

I'm not talking down to anyone here, guys......geez......I didn't realize CWS fans were so sensitive.....after lurking on these boards for several months, and watching how some of you guys talk back and forth, especially some of the game day threads, I figured some good natured ribbing wouldn't have such a reaction......I am the last guy to come in and bash another team....being a Tigers fan, I can hardly say we've had the right over the last few decades.....I was just throwing a little crap around in good fun.....I really can't believe you guys would be so sensitive.........where I come from, when you show that you can't take a little crap thrown your way, it only invites more........hell, I hope we can continue this back and forth the rest of the year....pushing each other all the way through Sept...because I'd like nothing more than for the CWS AND the Tigers to make the playoffs......I'd love to make some popcorn, grab a beer (or 10) and watch Steinbrenner blow his top after he doesn't make the playoffs..... Again, maybe you all misinterpreted my intentions with the posts....or maybe it was I who misinterpreted the toughness of the hide of White Sox fans....I hope it's the former rather than the later.....

Here's the good part......could be up 3 by the time we wake up in the morning.......Tomorrow the CWS go up against Shilling who will be pumped to shove the ASG snub in Guillen's ugly mug.....we could be 4 games up going into the break....when we come back, we have 4 games at home vs the Royals and the CWS have 4 against the NYY in NY......it could be a pretty good lead by the time they get to Detroit.......with the way the White Sox are pitching, I think they could be in some trouble......
