  1. Wouldn't go that far, but of his 6 hits, two were infield singles. Not a lot of hard hit balls. He just has to zero in his off speed stuff and maybe he will be back.
  2. LOL...somehow he is through 5, with 5 hits and 2 BB, still 0 Ks. The first pitch curve to Sano was awesome.
  3. I didn't know it was possible to pitch in 2018 and strike out NO ONE.
  4. Good defensive play by Tilson. An OF actually making a nice play? For the Sox? What?
  5. Got the 2 runs back
  6. 3 innings, a 2.0 WHIP, 0 Ks....
  7. OF defense is a crock.
  8. Back to back Walks. Seems nothing changes. A good inning here or there, but the wheels eventually come off.
  9. A lead off walk. FFS
  10. Oh no doubt, the curve ball he has is legit, but damn if he knows where it's going. At least right now. I don't believe he has forgotten how to pitch.
  11. Absolutely not, no one should give up on Gio. We're only 2+ months into the season. I think his fastball is close to being workable, but the off speed stuff is simply non existent right now, in that if he does get it into the strike zone (rarely) it's usually in a terrible location.
  12. I want to see Gio get his curve ball over. That change up he threw was way too damn high as well. Need more than 1 effective pitch. And hell, even that fastball isn't overpowering, though it certainly does have good movement.
  13. LOL, even a routine grounder is an adventure. Gio still doesn't miss many bats, but they also really didn't get much great wood on him, other than the Garver shot.
  14. What the hell was Trayce doing out there? Shocked the Twinkie didn't tag up at 2nd
  15. Gio's fastball location is good early, also some nice late movement. The curveballs he threw were throw it and pray pitches, neither were close although Rosario fouled off one 3 inches from his shin,
  16. Yep, he's been comfortable at 92, but did hit 94.
  17. Tim Tebow catching for the Twins tonight.
  18. Littell doing the remarkable, making Engel look like Mike Trout....Engel is warming to the task.
  19. What will be the encore tonight? Unless Littell tightens up the Sox should have some success tonight...but Lucas-Gas-Can is on the bump so this one could be a wild game 2. Though I REALLY am pulling for Gio...we need him to straighten his shit out and given he's very young no way do we give up on him.
  20. Long day. Came home, put on game....dosed off, woke up to 3 run homer. Punched myself to return to sleep. Damn White Sox...
  21. Brewers seem like a good candidate and the speculation in this thread makes some sense. Colorado is another team that makes some sense, their pitching is very meh at this point. Rockies have some young guys I really like a lot....McMahon, Hilliard, Tapia, Hampsen, etc....though no chance Shields brings in those guys, other than Hilliard perhaps. I'd absolutely take a flier on Hilliard, a bit older in AA, but loaded with tools.
  22. Just when I think the Sox couldn't suck any worse. This game is comical.
