Astros interested in Abreu?
Where is it over the last month? Desmond was a dumpster fire the first 6 weeks.

Astros interested in Abreu?
They really need pitching. Desmond has been hitting well lately at 1st base...not sure why they need a 1B at this point.

Twins @ Sox 1:10 WGN Odorizzi vs Giolito
Gio perfect from 2nd to 5th....damn.

Twins @ Sox 1:10 WGN Odorizzi vs Giolito
Odorizzi has the most dominant 92 mile per hour fastball I've ever seen.

ESPN ranks White Sox rotation worst in baseball
If Hahn gets ANYTHING and I mean ANYTHING for Miguel Gonzalez they should erect a statue of him in front of the stadium. Who in the hell would want that guy? Shields will get you a decent (maybe around 12-15 in system) prospect at best.

FS: Changes coming on the farm (Julie's column)
Glad Basabe got called up to AA. He started off really fast, but tailed off a bit. Cease going to AA was a no brainer. I think he'll finish in AAA, before they shut him down (he has never tossed huge innings so they'll be careful with this phenom).

Astros interested in Abreu?
I think Davis would be a prime candidate. Houston can't find a spot for him. He can play 1 or 3....hard worker and mashes. I'd like a JD Davis +

Astros interested in Abreu?
Why do they need him? If Houston is legit, then JD Davis would likely be part of return, I'd think. Houston probably would be doing Davis a favor to move him as he has proven plenty in AAA.

So you don't like nagging and moaning, so you nag and moan about people nagging and moaning. Ignoring those posts you don't like was never an option?

I'd give Gio another inning. Pitch count looks good and the crummy bottom of the order for the Tigers is coming up.

LMAO. Of course. When he got down 3-0, I was sure he'd never throw 3 strikes in a row. Inning coulda been worse...he hit a guy who was swinging so he got lucky there. then he grooves absolute meat to Castellanos, one of the better hitters in the game.

Hilarity.

GT: Detroit @ Chicago, 1:10 CT, 6/16/18
Goodness. You freaking walk a guy so you can pitch to Castellanos. Very clear he has no idea where his pitches are going.

4 perfect innings for Zimmerman. Nothing has been hit worth a damn other than Yoan's nice shot to RF

I would not say the Nats trade looks good. Gio is a hot mess, Reynaldo is decent but nothing earth shattering. Dunning could factor into this of course, but he's still a couple of levels out, though early returns on him look good. To me, it's even and could go either way. Eaton's injury problems have helped this trade "lookgood", but when he has played he's a terror.

Damn. I meant Washington. I am not sure why I always get those teams mixed up.

Yoan, Kopech, Gio all struggling. Key trades keying rebuild are not coming up aces. Rey is decent and Dunning has potential, but still wait and see there. The Cubs trade still looks very good. Nats trade right now is a push, Boston trade favors Boston. At least right now.
