    Most Disappointing Sox team of all time

    I can't remember a Sox team who has disappointed me more. I wish I had followed my usual rule of not looking at baseball until the NBA playoffs are finished. That way if the team really sucks I only have to care until football season. Here it is early June and already I can't stomach another game. I can't even get pissed anymore.

     

    Does this Sox team have the greatest drop from expectation to performance?

    And when did he drop the "e" from his last name? Of course if he was a Valentine yesterday he would be marked return to sender.

    I don;t think these guys give a s*** if they win or loose. The only thing that would have pissed me off more is if he said "yeah I dropped it, but I just saved a bunch of money on my car insurance . . ."

    Excuse me but I thought we had a great 1-2 solid 3-4 and who cares really about the 5th starter. The pitching isn't any better than I thought way back when. The positive difference is E-LO the negative is Buerle. I think it (the pitching) just looks better standing next to our pathetic, anemic, offense.

    Yes, there is a difference and that is why IMHO the mlb policy doesn't pass the common sense test when you hire from within. Why parade around someone for the sake of looks and then hire the white guy? I hate hollow gestures. The Marlins where suppose to find a couple of minorities, bring them in, then promote their guy. How does that help the guys that get the sham interview? In fact it hurts the guy because later when a position does come up that they really have a chance at people start thinking this guy has interviewed for 4 Managerial jobs and never got one, I wonder what's wrong with him?

     

    Hire the best guy for the job, period.

    Was there a little throwing at batters in the later innings? I was "watching" on gameday and it looked like Kock and Marte both were working "way inside" on a couple of batters.

     

    I was questioning pulling him after a strike out. I'm starting to feel a bit more relaxed when I see Koch coming in.
