You would be an absolute idiot to trade Buehrle right now. Maybe if he ripped off 7-8 wins in a row, but lefties like him are hot commodities. Not to mention he wont break the bank in arbitration. If they get rid of Mark, they will try to replace him with free agents. Even if he makes 5-6 million next year, you dont trade a 25-26 yr old lefty like him. Everyone else, please try and sell them all. Keep Maggs for the fans, and hope for the best with Crede, Borchard, Miles/Harris, and Jimenez. Konerko, Thomas, Valentin, Koch, and Colon all need to go.

Call me crazy, but I would not want to get rid of Marte. He is our best pitcher the last year and a half. You will never be able to replace him, and he makes no money. I would be much more willing to part with Wunsch. I am sure the Yankees would be interested in Gordon as well. Aside from two broken bat singles, Gordon has been awesome as of late. I would have no problem giving up Koch if we got something decent in return.

Let me mention that there is very little speculation as to what might happen. To be honest, since there is absolutely no leak to info, I am sceptical as to what he will talk about. He very well may address the comments in the press the last few days. The only, and I mean only, reason I think he may resign is due to the weird, closed door manner this has taken. If Manuel does resign, that proves we have plenty of in house problems with management, upper management, and the players. I know we already know this, but it might even be worse than we think, if thats possible.

Dan Mcneil just stated that Jerry Manuel will address the media at 4pm. Something is up, and I have a feeling he might be resigning.
