Since 1990, Frank has hit 376 HRs for us, a team record. He also has driven in 1285 runs. He has batted .314 in his brilliant, HOF bound career. I would say he could be called the heart and soul of this team. Now what has Koney done? Well obviously he cant be compared to Franks career numbers since hes only played 4 years in the majors. But lets compare second half stats. In 2002, PK hit .270 with 7 HRs and 33 RBIs down the stretch. Meanwhile, Frank hit .270 with 14 HRs and 38 RBIs. Now I thought Franks numbers would be much better than Koneys but really theyre about equal, with a little edge to Frank. But still would you like to have Koney hit with these numbers in the second half of a season in which we are contenders? Not really... I think both these players must be around next year but the average fan gives PK a little too much credit.

Does anybody know those little stars and ranks on the side of the page when I post a message? Like Im a one star rookie and chisoxfn is a ten star administrator? How do I improve my rank? And what is the chain of command?

Not that this is a bad thing, but I could care less. Right now, we must sign the heart and soul of this team, Frank Thomas. Ive never really been a big PK fan since he seems to slump in the second half. I also really disliked all that he said about my man Frank. That is a problem with the Sox. Both the team leaders are rather fake. Val and PK are the ones of which I speak. Good leaders usually admit their mistakes and accept some of the blame. Yet Val and PK seem to have plenty of fun pointing that finger... Just my honest opinion...

As anyone from mlb would know, Im a huge Thomas fan so Id really hate to see him leave. Besides, if he did, Id find it much more likely that hed go to either the other Sox or the Braves. Most likely the Red Sox since Thomas is rather weak defensively.

Pierre hit .287 with a bomb, 35 ribbies and 47 SBs last year. Not bad. But which do we want? Rowands POTENTIAL power and decent speed or no power from Pierre but excellent speed? We have Koney, Maggs and hopefully Thomas among others to provide the power but we dont have much speed. So since rowand has not yet come thru with any of his potential, I dont think it would be a bad idea to trade for Pierre.

Dude, I cant stand MJ. Anyone who remembers me from mlb will know that. In my mind, he doesnt seem to be able to do anything. He doesnt throw out runners very well, he doesnt hit at all, he has no speed. But we should still keep him as a mentor to Olivo. MJ can call a good game and therefore he should stay because Olivo needs the tutoring... And every once in a while, he can give Miguel a breather... But nothing more...

I hate talking to girls who have no clue. I used to talk to a lot of those kind girls. They would space out and say "uh-uh" and you would just kinda want to knock on their heads and see if anythings in there... But right now, my biggest pet peeve is myself. Recently, a hot varsity cheerleader at my school started flirting with me. We would always wave at eachother and recently Ive tried to get her number but I never got the right timing. So yesterday I came out of lunch and headed off towards my study block while singing "99 bottles of beer on the wall" at the top of my lungs. She passed me in the hall and smiled and in midst of my mini orchestra I gave a mere nod in response (not a smiling nod, just a nod, like you would nod at a teacher). I was truly pissed at myself after realizing what I had done. So earlier today I was walking towards my 4th block class and I was just about to enter the room when I peered over my shoulder and saw her. She was with some other guy and we made eye contact. It was about 2 seconds long but it seemed like an eternity. I finally ended it by spinning and thowing open the door and leaving her in the hallway. Im going to try to apologize tommorrow but does anyone else have any advice? Should I apologize and then get her number or should I wait til a later date to get the number?

Once I post this, I will be taken to a page where there is a small column in the middle of the page. On one side, I can see my name and and all the other names of people who have started recent threads. Then when you go to the subject column, you see TINY writing. No possible way to read it. It looks kinda like this ~~~~~. Do you see it that way? I can just type in the URL and go back to the front to avoid it but thats a bit inconvenient. Can you help me?

For some reason a large amount of posters on the site from where I came were suddenly banned by an allpowerful invisible force. I returned from a short hiatus and saw the chaos. This site was reccommended, and surprisingly the post wasnt deleted. So I came here to see if order was a little more present than at mlb, and so far it is. I see other posters have fled to this board recently, such as hotsoxchick and mmmmbeeer. I dont blame them. Unless a dramatic apology is posted back there, I have no intentions of going back. I hope that my fellow sox fans here will accept me and that maybe the old legacy of the good ole days at mlb will come here. Who knows, maybe they already have...
