  1. I know, 4,256 hits is nothing. Neither is being a career .338 hitter and leading the NL in OPS 6 times.
  2. Like I said, steroids don't improve hitting ability and hand-eye coordination. Power- yes, some. But like you say, many other players did it and weren't monsters. Take Juan Rincon, Guillermo (sp?) Mota, and Neifi Perez for example Finally, somebody agrees with me
  3. That's why I said maybe to 2008. I would rather him take as much time in AAA as needed to come to full potential, and to get stronger and put on some weight.
  4. Yes. One of the best hitters I've ever seen, that's for sure...
  5. Now you've taken it too far. Steroids and HGH, whether or not he took them, don't improve hitting ability and hand-eye coordination. He still had to amazing hand-eye and hitting ability to hit those homers, steroids or not. Here's my top 10. 1. Bonds 2. Ruth 3. Cobb 4. Gwynn 5. Rose 6. H Wagner 7. DiMaggio 8. A-Rod 9. Hammerin' Hank 10. Ichiro 10. Mantle
  6. Noooo wayyy, really? I must have missed that...
  7. When I go to the Twins and Mariners game @ Safeco Field on August 13, I'm going to see quite the pitchers' duel- Cy Santana and King Felix. Just thought I'd throw that out that I bought the tickets back in early June, and it comes out they I will see 1 great pitcher, and 1 that could win multiple Cy Young's in 3-5 years.
  8. That's always a great point, but until he admitts it, I still believe in Barry.
  9. Haha, thanks. I hit the 8 instead of the 9. My bad.
  10. Oh and BTW, people at these stadiums really grind my @$$. They boo, boo, and boo some more, but when it comes to s***ting or getting off the pot, they get off the pot. He walked off to a standing ovation. It's either you love him, or hate him, don't boo, then cheer, a$$clowns.
  11. Prove it. Tim Kurkjian did one of his tributes today to A-Rod, and he wasn't exactly as big as he is now. I know, I know, his HR total never peaked, but he is bigger now.
  12. Haha, when the stat came up that he retired 26 straight, I was standing up clapping and when got out #1, I went nuts, because he pitched a PG.
  13. Sox 2009 rotation Buehrle Javy Garland??? Danks Floyd Gio Maybe that'll be it in 2008, who knows.
  14. And that's the scary part, because we know every year he will hit more then 40, some years maybe 50 or so. So he could hit 33-39 when he's 40, 41, and 42, and he'd still hit 810.
  15. I never said it wasn't. But in the event that he does go to jail and all that, will he get to the HOF? Will his HR total still remain at 755? Will records he set, like 73 in a season, be erased?
  16. Well yeah, but like Hall of Fame, or no? 755, or 600?
  17. Do you guys think Bonds will ever come out and say he did it? Or Anderson? If they do, what will happen to Bonds?
  18. And tomorrow we get the pleasure of watching Gavin Floyd pitch
  19. Yes it will. If A-Rod ends this year with 510, and hits exactly 40 a year for the next 10 years, he'll end up with 810. Scary.
  20. Bonds man-handled his kid at home plate. Wow Congrats to BB
  21. THOME AJ PODS KONERKO JENKS JAVY DYE
