I'm not so sure I want to go to a 4 man rotation, I want to have our starters at full strength in the playoffs. This way they will be able to go deep into games, and we wont have to worry about our bullpen as much. But, to answer your question, I would rather get another good reliever and call up Diaz to be our 5th starter.

Yea, I agree with you that the Rays are very well managed. My dad and I were basically talking about the same thing ealier today. I think they'll be a good team in a couple of years, except it sucks for them that they are in the East with NY, Boston, and hell, even Toronto is good this year.

That's a good point. The only mostly consistent relievers we have are Marte, Gordon, and Wunsch(when healthy).

They both have been pretty decent in Charlotte, but so had Porzio. Anyway, wasn't Kolhmeier the closer for Baltimore in 2000 or 2001?

I we trade for a starter, then I'll be happy with the call up of Ginter. He has been rock solid for charlotte.

I'd want to see Felix Diaz tried as our 5th starter. Could he be any worse than Porzio? I don't think so. Also, let's get Danny Wright some time as the closer for charlotte, and see how it works. Hell, we should give it a shot at least, look what it did for Eric Gagne.
