Thome will strikeout, Alexei will strikeout, Lillybridge will strikeout Combined, these 3 hitters will strikeout tonight at least 7 times

If our young hitters continue to struggle, and struggle mightily, there will be no excuse not to call up Gordon So far, Getz and Nix are safe Alexei needs to either be benched or moved to a different position, to make room for Beckham or Getz+Nix playing everyday Josh needs to be moved to the 9 hole, as we don't have an adequate replacement for him at 3rd base

Josh Fields cannot be allowed to hit in the 2-hole if he is going to continue on his pace of 200 strikeouts this year, it's a change ozzie guillen HAS to make, period There's no exception to this, Fields cannot handle hitting #2, period

what's this, the 4th shutout in 20 games? we're on pace to be shut out... quite a few times this year

i've been watching BA's at-bats closely since he's taken over the starting role, and one thing i've noticed (primarily) is he's not chasing the breaking balls away watch his at-bats yesterday against halladay, he was being busted inside over and over with that two-seam fastball, and then halladay would go off the plate away with what looked like a cutter or some type of breaking ball (maybe a slider), and BA would lay off of them in all of his at-bats, it looked as though he knew he was being set up by the pitcher, they were nice to see and unlike any other AB's i've seen him take as a sox player
