QUOTE(JimH @ May 15, 2006 -> 12:47 PM) Sac fly, 3-1. Boy I am really starting to like DJ, in terms of what pitches he suggests they throw in certian situations. He is almost always right on. They did try to go inside on Morneau but Freddy left it out over the plate a bit. I'm loving the DJisms.

How Many Home Runs will Jim Thome hit?
As long as it's somewhere around "a lot", I'm cool with it.

Sox @ Twins Game Thread
We've got some hot hands in the lineup....Pods, Jim, Brian....let's keep it going.

AND THAT'S A WHITE SOX WINNER!!!
I honestly would be surprised if he was breaking 95. They had Neal at 95, and I'm not sure he's ever hit that in a game, much less anything above 92.

State of the farm?
Ooh. Not really a short answer on this one. A lot of depends if you're like some guys here that don't think we have anyone worthwhile. I'd say our core minor leaguers who have the best chances to develop are Broadway, Sweeney, Fields, Valido and Cunningham. The farm system is still not in great shape, especially at the lower levels, but we have guys who could be starters in the majors.

Catch-All Anything Thread
38th anniversary of the tornado that changed my town forever. How an F5, three-funnelled tornado can rip thru the center of a town of 8,000 and only kill one is beyond me. Almost the entire town was leveled.
