    Does it say "Article: Colon Would Provide Sox with Final Pie" on anyone else's computer? If so I want to know more about this pie!

    On mine, it says Article: Colon Would Provide Sox with Final Piece.

     

    Only in Iowa does it say "Pie."

     

    We get the piece, you get the pie.

     

    More wholesome for you that way.

    I wonder if it's a Netscape problem then. It's cutting off the titles.

    Well Wright and Garland should grow a bit.  Last year they were pretty good and were basically our #2 and #3 pitchers.  This year we won't have Ritchie stinking up the joint and if he is back it will be on a shorter leash, and healthy.

     

    We'll also have Rauch who I think will easily be better then Glover as a starter. 

     

    Remember in 2000 our staff came out of nowhere.  JB and Eldred had career years.  The offense still is what carried that team and this years offense is going to be real good and is going to go up against plenty of bad pitching staffs.

    But we also can't rest our hopes on our pitchers having career years.

    Hey Jason. Why 2000 for the hall? why not more?  how about 5000?

     

    Now that's HOF staus!

    I've been considering that. Was trying to think of something that could go between All Star and MVP or MVP and Hall of Famer.

    You could throw stuff like Gold Glove and Silver Slugger in there, or Cy Young winner. Maybe Draft Pick for the first stage, I dunno.

    Thanks for everyone who did this.  I'll settle for 2nd and I know I would of done even better had Iowa not choked.  I also should of updated my Miami pick to Ohio State as I changed my mind the day of the game and ended up putting money on OSU.

    The Hawks represent everything evil in this world. :ph34r:

    They almost upset Mizzu in basketball yesterday.

    As an ISU fan, I will cheer for anybody as long as their performance doesn't hurt the Clones.

     

    Oh yeah, and f*** the Hawks! :lol:

    For the love of God, YES, YES, YES, a million times YES, I have been hunting all over for a palm pilot downloadable schedule, please, do it, and do it now, and having a downloadable roster plus whatever extras you might come up with would be sweet beyond words --

     

    I'll probably do it with a database program. Just make sure you have one.

    Something the staff at SoxNet has been thinking about offering is files (Sox schedule, roster) that you can download for your Palm Pilot, etc. We would do this if there is enough interest. What do you guys think?

     

    I just started helping out here, so if you guys have any other ideas, just tell them.
