  2. lee makes absoulutly 0 sence. where the fish would he hit? our line up would have to look something like this: (which is pretty odd) 1. iguchi ® 2. lee ® 3. thome (l) 4. konerko ® 5. dye ® 6. AJ (l) 7. crede ® 8. uribe ® 9. anderson ® thats one odd lookin lineup to me.
  3. QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 08:55 PM) Just throwing this out there: Pods and McCarthy for Soriano.... Yes or no? thats a hell of a question i think the anwser can be found in this question: is it worth it to give up a future top of the rotation starter who will make the leauge minimum for a few years and take on the contract of a left fielder who will likely command 60 million dollars over then next 4 years?
  4. QUOTE(VAfan @ Jul 24, 2006 -> 08:48 PM) Don't you love how a few days ago, KW said: "EVERYTHING'S QUIET. I'M NOT MAKING ANY TRADES. ZZZZZZZZ..............." Meanwhile, he's the only GM with the balls to give up talent to get talent. Hey, it may not work out, but I was tired of watching the Sox having our brains beat in over the last two weeks by our rivals. SMOKE EM, KENNY! Put a charge into this team!!! it is nice to see us get stronger in the pen... and im very encouraged by garcia and garland... their last starts were awsome.... contreras is still pitching well and if he gets it back completely, look out. im hoping our starting pitching can just go out and give us an average of 6 IP with 1 or 2 ER.... that would be awsome and we'd probably win the division. its all on the shoulders of the starters now.
  5. QUOTE(MichiganBorn @ Jul 21, 2006 -> 01:08 AM) There are only a few teams I like to watch get dominated In no order 1) Yankees 3) Lakers im right with you on these two... funny too being that i born and raised in california. fish the lakers. fish the yankmes im sure you wont get punk here if you continue to be a class act. congrats on the win... it was a hard fought game and i hope next time we sweep you again.
  6. QUOTE(MichiganBorn @ Jul 20, 2006 -> 08:29 PM) I think this is what the fans should be seeing out of these two teams. Not perfect outings against each other but competitive baseball. I don't want to see the White Sox or the Tigers dominate each other. If I wanted that I'd go play xbox. I want tension and suspense. Late inning rallies, two out bombs, big saves and side sitting strike outs. I'm just looking forward to the next series. Should be alot of fun. i like you. i hope you stick around and remain as cool when we kick the tigers asses next series
  7. i want him to have my children.

BEATING THE TIGERS AT HOME WITH OUR SUNDAY LINE UP!!

  14. QUOTE(Dick Allen @ Jul 18, 2006 -> 11:03 PM) Pods was so overrated during the regular season last year it wasn't even funny. He scored 80 runs. Surely if he messed with pitcher's minds as much as advertised he would have scored a very average 80 runs for a leadoff guy with almost 60 steals. He actually is a better offensive player this year. i guess we didnt watch the same baseball games or the same team or the same player.
  15. did you watch any games last season? pods did do a lot to mess with pitchers last year... meat balls, wild pitches, pitchers walking people.... its not about BA as much as it is him getting in the head of the other team... he did it more often last season but has done it a little this year.
  16. and his control problems i think that if tracy can get his control down he can be a very very productive MLB pitcher... thats what has been said about him for about 2 years now.
  17. just for kicks, if we did get cameron... dont you think that he would be the full time CF'er and that BA would become the 4th?
  18. you all are like the gum found laid upon urban sidewalks. pink.
  19. speak for youself dude, im not pretty... im one ugly ass smelly mother f***er.... i mean hey.... if i cant insult anyone on here any longer, i better at least take advantage of my freedom to slam myself... what a lousey peice of crap you are hi8is! DIE!

  21. oh... come on you peanut butter and jelly sandwhich eater! i take offence! BAN!
  22. haha uhh thank you... you scally wagged plank!
  23. as long as i can say things like you scally wagged plank deck im cool. is that allowed? i mean, think about it.... a scally wagged plank deck could be a pretty good complament.... some people might get an ego boost after being called a long peice of wood.
