  1. That has to be Nuke yelling for Frank.
  2. Schoe was working on that changeup alot in ST. He's a professional and doesn't care about ST stats either. Right now his cutter and 2-seamer are just so dominant he doesn't need to use the changeup much. His arsenal is very similar to Esteban Loaiza's right now and it works.
  3. Well he did hit one to the track yesterday. But the ball is not carrying tonight.
  4. Carlos woulda beat that out. No way Roberts turns and gets him.
  5. Orioles defense gives us that one. I still don't think they woulda doubled Lee on that one.
  6. Frank first and thirds him. Cmon Carlos, having a good game so far.
  7. Listening to Sutcliffe hurts my brain.
  8. Scott has really only had one bad outing this year. The rest have been just awesome.
  9. I'm getting it on ESPN. Still meaningless though.
  10. Actually they said if Frank has 3 or 4 more seasons like 2000 he is definite HOF material. Just not necessarily first-ballot like he was looking ten years ago.
  11. Wow Carlos 2 walks in 2 plate appearances. I like patient Carlos.
  12. With the amount of pitches he's thrown he's bound to make some mistakes.
  13. Ball sorta died up there on that one.
  14. Wow we are on ESPN on Wednesday too.
  15. Haha Roberts is absolutely covered in mud.
  16. Uniform YNOT is for tomorrow's game.
  17. Happy Bday you crazy cats
  18. I think we want him in the pen because taking him out would leave Marte as the only lefty. Wunsch is on the trading block or something.
  19. I'm sure many of you diehard Sosa fans are already aware of this but Sosa is third all-time on this very prestigious list. He is ahead of McGwire, Mays, Ruth, Bonds, Aaron, DiMaggio, pretty much anybody you can name except Reggie Jackson and Andres Galaragga. Sammy Sosa has 1,997 career strikeouts and will soon pass Galaragga who has 2000 for second all time. Sosa has a decent chance to become the all-time strikeout king if he averages 150 or so strikeouts a year the next 4 seasons to reach the magic number of 2598. In this category, Sosa truly is the best player in Chicago. I mean Frank Thomas has ONLY 1086 career strikeouts. How can anyone expect to be a great power hitter like Sosa without whiffing an average of almost once per game for your entire career?
  20. Anyone else watching Sunday Night Baseball right now? Those Rangers are on the verge of sweeping the RED Sox out of Texas. Dickey has thrown 8 shutout innings and the fans are chanting "SWEEP".
  21. I think Reynolds wants to be like Peter Gammons. Not sure why
