Someone on the MLB roster. I'd bet Robert was asked about plenty, and not as a joke. Eloy probably, Moncada, maybe Madrigal. Indians were looking for MLB level talent.

I assume you have some inside info here. I'd put Moncada + Kopech in a similar category as Vaughn + Kopech, and that got Chris Sale, not a 34 year old with 1 year left on his deal.

I don't know why I kept tuning in to be honest.

I listen to Sox Machine every so often. They're not very engaging hosts and the podcasts seem to drag on.

I have to think the Lynn demands were super high because he didn't move and multiple teams were rumored. You'd figure one of the White Sox, Yankees, Braves, Dodgers, Padres (maybe? I forget) would've been able to meet an acceptable price.

I'm thinking Kopech + Dunning, Stiever or Vaughn. Something with just too much from the top end of our prospects.

Asking prices were probably too high - the Padres deal for Clevinger is solid volume we just don't have. I bet Texas was heavy on someone untouchable - Vaughn + Kopech or something similar. Maybe even Robert like that beatwriter tossed out - which if true Daniels is insane.
