QUOTE (fathom @ May 24, 2014 -> 04:04 PM) Viciedo has NO CHANCE of doing anything here. Just realized Sierra is on deck.

Get on Gordon, I like the odds of Viciedo and Dunn getting something done.

QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ May 24, 2014 -> 04:02 PM) RHB are hitting .240 off Robertson this season, 86 OPS+ LHB are hitting .083 with a 3 OPS+ LETS STACK THE BOX WITH LEFTIES It's actually .095 now after Dunn's homer yesterday, but yeah.

Does this coaching staff not know how to read a f***ing scouting report? Robertson dominates lefties. It's been that way his entire career.

I'm not sure how Alejandro is this bad. After starting off hot against the Twins, he's been absolute garbage.

I think we're trying to lose on purpose...

QUOTE (oldsox @ May 24, 2014 -> 03:57 PM) Ventura/Belasario cost that game. But speaking of the umps, they did squeeze Belasario in the 9th. Belisario was a bit unlucky. It's not like everything he gave up was hard hit. The pitch he made to Solarte was pretty good, but Solarte put a pretty good swing on it.

Looks like Leury is on deck...where's Gillaspie?

Two walkoffs in two days anyone?

QUOTE (Soxfest @ May 24, 2014 -> 03:55 PM) Can someone tell me who Sox pissed off to give up more 2 out runs, than the rest of MLB teams combined it feels like game after game. It's cause our pitchers can't put hitters away.

QUOTE (greg775 @ May 24, 2014 -> 03:53 PM) I forgot about that unwritten rule, probly cause I don't consider Bella a closer. It's cause he's not a closer.

Wow, how did that ball go out?

QUOTE (fathom @ May 24, 2014 -> 03:43 PM) After pitching multiple innings last night, I doubt they have him pitch another inning today. It's not like he threw a lot of pitches in the 9th.

Putnam in.

Bullpen better hold it. We're not going to score off Betances.

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ May 24, 2014 -> 03:40 PM) If we lose this game, this better not end up like last year.... Was it last year when we were .500 after sweeping the Marlins and then ended up sucking?

QUOTE (fathom @ May 24, 2014 -> 03:38 PM) I'm shocked they left him in to face McCann. It's because Downs is probably just as bad. Also not sure why he didn't pitch around McCann, considering Brendan Ryan was on deck.

Betances on. I doubt we can scratch a run against him.

QUOTE (SoxPride18 @ May 24, 2014 -> 03:36 PM) Webb Only problem with Webb is he walks too many hitters. I like the stuff, but it really hasn't translated into enough Ks to justify his walk total.

QUOTE (sin city sox fan @ May 24, 2014 -> 03:36 PM) Time to drop him and pick up Downs......closer change has to be coming soon. Downs as closer would be a nightmare.

We'll just have to walk them off again.

It's my bad guys, I picked up Belisario on my fantasy team.

I think we're lucky McCann didn't hit that ball harder. It was a hanger.

Wow, three BS hits ties it up.

Ugh, can Belisario have just one easy save?
