  1. Why aren't the grounds crew cleaning the debris up? This is some disgusting gamesmanship.
  2. Probably because Lopez hasn't been stretched out. He's also more valuable in middle relief and long relief right now with how thin the bullpen is right now.
  3. They were unlucky in game 1 with the wind to be fair, but you can't control the weather. Complaining about the weather when both teams gotta deal with it is extremely childish.
  4. It'd be nice if Reese can jack one out here
  5. Don't tell Mariners fans...they might use it as an excuse if things don't go their way.
  6. Gavin gets on the board. Only Leury is without a hit now amongst the regulars.
  7. That's a play half of this board might be able to make. Slow hit grounder to the OF and he couldn't even get off a throw.
  8. Can't do that when you owe him $16 million.
  9. Leury giving away 2 outs this inning already.
  10. Suarez...you're not that much faster when you sprint to first base on a walk lol
  11. Surprisingly nice inning from Lambert. Just need 3 more of those.
  12. Their Twitter and Reddit reactions yesterday were straight up embarrassing. "Get a roof" "Grounds crew is only cleaning the infield before the Sox play defense" If the players had such a big issue with the rain, have your pitcher scream at the umps and refuse to pitch. It worked for Hendriks lol. Besides, it's not like the Sox didn't play in the same conditions. The victim complex is on full display in a game in freaking April. I feel like we as a fanbase make a lot of shitty excuses, but after seeing what Mariners fans were saying last night, I don't think we're so bad.
  13. Yeah I remember him walking a bunch of guys in ST. I didn't think much of it, but with the way he's thrown so far, you can tell he's not fully there yet.
  14. To be clear, I don't think his stuff is declining yet. I just think he needed the extra few weeks of ST to get fully ready. But I'm looking at that option year in 2024 that we've basically already guaranteed and wondering just how effective Liam will be when he might not have the extra oomph on the fastball at the age of 35.
  15. We've already won the series. Tomorrow is whatever, especially with Lambert starting and Hendriks/Graveman unavailable.
  16. Liam isn't getting any younger. He's gonna have to come to the conclusion that he can't keep throwing 99 MPH fastballs by people without mixing some other pitches in. Especially when he's no longer averaging high 90s on his fastballs in a few years. It's weird because he used to be a starter so he should know all of this.
  17. I can't believe we got this game in. I also can't believe we clobbered Robbie Ray
  18. Alright Liam, 1 more. Throw some breaking pitches every once in a while.
  19. He throws that to Crawford and he strikes him out.
  20. Katz probably telling Liam to stop throwing nothing but fastballs.
