Manning finally figured out that Leury can't hit a high fastball.

He actually hit a fly ball at 102 MPH 2 innings ago. But he got a bit under it and hit it to the wrong part of the field. Grandal from last year probably hits that over regardless.

I'm pretty sure Baez just decides to swing before the pitch.

He check swung super late on the 1-1 change up. That changed the whole AB.

It's been all downhill since someone made that thread. You're right.

Another awful AB for Abreu with runners on.

You're assuming he can stay healthy for the rest of the month.

Way to go with that pitch Eloy

For once Yoan had a call go for him.

Only Pollock can pop up a high sinker.

When is the rain coming?

You're also not gonna get a pitcher with as much upside as him for $10 million. Sox just need to hope Lucas finds some sticky stuff again. Spin rates around the league are going up again. Guys are finding ways to use sticky stuff again.

If it wasn't for that extension his fastball would be even worse.

Manning is hanging every curve ball he throws.

Any chance he gets less than 10 million if his ERA is around 5?

No way he gets non tendered. Grandal's power just seems like it's gone...

Manning shut out the Rays for 7 innings the last time out and I'm not really seeing how with the way he's pitched today.

The combination of injuries and MLB changing the rules/balls has basically killed the Sox.

They really nibbled against that guy who hit a fastball right down the middle weakly to 3B...

Lack of sticky stuff = less carry. If you don't have high velo like Lucas, late movement is the only way you can strike guys out on the pitch consistently.

Another hanging slider.

Detroit has given Lucas trouble cause they straight up sit on his change up and just flick it into the OF in 2 strikes counts.

Greene actually missed it. That ball should have been hit 450 feet.

Ump sucks, but why put yourself in that position against a guy who doesn't have a ML hit?

We've probably had more SAC flies today than we've had in the past month.
