9/17 GT: White Sox @ Rangers 7:05 PM
Romy with his best game so far at the plate.

He strikes lots of guys out and walks lots of guys. It's only natural he can't go deep into games. He averages the most pitches per plate appearance in baseball. At least this was the case about a month ago. Not sure if he still is, but he's near the top.

Dylan with his patented 70 pitches after 3 innings outing.

Leave it to Cease to get the first 2 out quickly and then walk the third guy after having him at 1-2.

Yankees just went up 6-0 on Cleveland.

His swing from the left side is so smooth. It looks like he uses his whole body. His right handed swing looks like it's all arms.

Garcia looks like Great Value Robert. The Rangers basically got him for free too.

It's pretty stupid that they had to use artificial turf in this field cause grass wouldn't grow well due to the direction of the field.

I think Balta's point is that he might have not gone 0fer another game had he known he had a 20+ game hitting streak going on.

Yoan is a natural left handed hitter right? Cause his right handed swing just does not look natural.

woah Eloy actually walked

Just throw Eloy off-speed first pitch. More often than not he'll swing at it and ground out.

I'm not liking our odds. We're basically 4 games back with 16 to go since we have to be one game better than them due to them owning the tie-breaker. Plus, our play recently isn't exactly encouraging. I think we'll probably end up at 91 or 92 wins.

I just might.

What's weird is that the Sox actually had the lowest launch angle in the first half and are now middle of the pack in the 2nd half. What's even weirder is that this does not apply when we have runners on third and less than 2 outs. You know, when you want to hit the ball in the air. In those situations, we went from a team that hit a ton of fly balls in the first half to a team that refuses to in the 2nd half. It's just freaking bizarre.

I feel bad for the people at this game. This is embarrassing.

Good lord another double play. I'm out.

Cobb can't get any non-Cesar lefties out.

Our recent series wins Red Sox (ravaged by COVID), Pirates, Cubs, A's (after we nearly killed Bassett), Cubs

Cobb is apparently winless against us, that may not hold up after today.

Collins' framing bites us again.

I agree. Should have gotten an out on Tim's error and the double he gave up is a double play if the positioning made any sense.

It's been this way since the ASB. We're just a team treading water in a bad division.

I'm not sure what the hell the positioning was on the double by Mayfield. If you're gonna throw him an off speed pitch you gotta play the line at third. Romy was way off. That ball wasn't even hit hard.
