Nomar has surprisingly been pretty good on defense this year. UZR and DRS both like him, but the sample size is inconclusive. He's mostly passed the eye test. It's actually the only part of his game that's been a positive this year.

It's clear he's probably in the best shape of his MLB career right now. Go look at some videos from 2016 or even his rookie year. He looks considerably slimmer now than he did back then.

The Twins absolutely choked the game away today. They had Greinke on the ropes early in the game and couldn't score. Caleb freaking Thielbar gave up a huge single to make the game out of reach. That's like if we had Jace Fry in that situation. Twins fans must be pissed with Rocco.
