  1. That's no fumble, Forte's knee is down by contact.
  2. What a gorgeous time consuming drive, even if they don't score.
  3. QUOTE (JorgeFabregas @ Nov 20, 2011 -> 05:53 PM) Vintage Knox on the interception after he'd looked good all day. He slipped, the turf sucks, not much you can do if you slip.
  4. Haha b****es, Major with a end zone int
  5. That obviously is not on Cutler.
  6. Cutler and Rivers going at it.
  7. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Nov 20, 2011 -> 04:37 PM) I hate watching the Bears on the AFC fan club channel CBS. This
  8. QUOTE (zenryan @ Nov 20, 2011 -> 03:48 PM) http://www.firstrowsports.tv/watch/93461/1...cago-bears.html TY

  10. QUOTE (DukeNukeEm @ Nov 18, 2011 -> 11:10 PM) http://www.politico.com/news/stories/1111/68730.html Could belong in the Filibuster, but hey there's some NBAish basketball for you guys. I love the comments, lol, stupid repubs, haters gonna hate.
  11. QUOTE (MexSoxFan#1 @ Nov 17, 2011 -> 03:10 PM) Rex Ryan and Mike Smith are overrated in my opinion. I also called it
  12. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 17, 2011 -> 02:45 PM) Your list became a joke the moment you mentioned Rex Ryan. FTW
  13. We just have a different opinion on domination.
  14. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 17, 2011 -> 03:27 PM) If it's not luck I dunno what it is. You can't give Lovie props for beating a s***ty Seattle team to get into the NFC championship game. And don't forget, we're not even in that position if the league didn't steal a TD from Calvin Johnson in week 1 (fluke!) And the Bears had no shot at beating GB. They were a cock tease for 3 hours. That's it. A Seattle team that beat the defending champs. Losing 21-14 and having you're 3rd string QB lead a potential late game tying rally does not equate having "no shot at beating the Packers" to me...
  15. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Nov 17, 2011 -> 02:07 PM) Based on this thread, I conclude that they stink and are very lucky . This They are a fluke
  16. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Nov 17, 2011 -> 01:33 PM) I'm not saying it's ALL luck. I'm saying he gets lucky. I'm saying his record doesn't reflect how good his teams are. I remember those stretches early in his tenure when the defense and special teams would outscore the offense. That's not coaching, that's abnormal. Yes, I give him credit for bringing in a turnover/good defense mindset and for the defensive scheme that has clearly worked. But to me that's mostly negated by the bonehead time outs (yes, we can say that's more on Martz and the 12 year old looking qb coach, but after one game of that s*** i'd have everyone in my office getting the problem fixed, not letting it continue for 7-8 weeks into the f'n season), his refusal to make adjustments despite being outplayed (and outcoached) (who remembers that Sunday night game against the Giants last season when he refused to do ANYTHING different or at least tell Martz to try anything different. That is the s*** I cannot stand with him), the challenge issue as you mentioned, etc. I'm considering all of his work and still think he's just average. He's nowhere near "excellent" and to me not "good." Does anyone here truly believe that last year they had any business in the NFC championship game? Seriously. Were they that good? To me (and everyone I know who follows them) they were an average team that lucked into that game. I really don't understand how people can dispute that. People use that as a "oh! 2 NFC championship games, must be a great coach." People were screaming for him and Angelo to be fired after the 2009 season. All that s*** got forgotten real quick once he took an average team to the NFC championship game, which IMO, was a fluke. The Bears beat who they needed to beat to get to the NFC championship game, that ain't luck, if Cutler had a decent game and not gotten hurt, the Bears would've had a great shot at winning that game, we didn't get blown out if you recall. He's big mistake was not going with Hanie after Cutler got hurt.
  17. QUOTE (GoSox05 @ Nov 17, 2011 -> 01:21 PM) Rex Ryan Jim Harbaugh Mike Smith John Harbaugh I really don't know how these guys are so far ahead of Lovie Smith. They may be equal, but not better by a far margin. I think John Harbaugh and Mike Smith are way overrated. Rex Ryan and Mike Smith are overrated in my opinion.
  18. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Nov 17, 2011 -> 12:43 PM) I rented it and it is absolutely fantastic and somehow a vast improvement over 11. That being said, it just made me angry to see NBA players and know an actual season wasn't coming. Cool, only bad is the cover of my game, I wanted the Jordan cover but either I wait a week more or get the Magic or Bird cover, I got the Magic Johnson one.
  19. Just purchased NBA 2K12, what do you guys think about the game?
  20. I like Lovie, he has faults like every NFL coach but he's been pretty successful so far. I think it's pretty lame to not give any credit whatsoever and call him lucky, let's be honest, he hasn't really had an offensive powerhouse in any of his teams, he's done alot with less.
  21. QUOTE (iamshack @ Nov 16, 2011 -> 01:55 PM) I disagree with this. Flynn has come in a few times and has played quite well. They are certainly not the same without Rodgers (he is outstanding), but the rest of the weapons are still there. Part of the reasons for Rodgers success are certainly the incredible amount of weapons he has and Flynn would be able to take advantage of those (albeit not as skillfully) just as Rodgers does. I think even without Rodgers, they're still as good as any team I have seen in the NFL this year. They look unbeatable with Rodgers, with Flynn they can be beat, let's not underestimate just how good Rodgers is, he makes plays that not alot of QBs make.
  22. Jeez, it's getting ugly...kiss this season good bye and I just bought NBA 2K12, that'll have to do for me this season.
  23. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Nov 16, 2011 -> 08:56 AM) You know who is a fluke? The Packers. If you take away Rodgers, Mathews, and company, they would be so average. The Pack are just one Rodgers injury away from being average, their D gives up alot of pts and no way their back up QB comes in and does what Rodgers does...so let's give Rodgers a concussion in the next Bears/Packers game!
  24. QUOTE (chw42 @ Nov 14, 2011 -> 05:43 PM) Now that would be funny. The owners don't NEED their franchises. They've made their money elsewhere. The players on the other hand...well...good luck with your day to day jobs. Pretty sure the marquee players can still earn a fat paycheck playing in leagues in Europe and other parts of the world, don't think you'll see D Rose applying for a job at Wal-Mart.
  25. QUOTE (StrangeSox @ Nov 15, 2011 -> 08:59 PM) Accurate, but also limited in range. Something that Lovie understands and uses Gould effectively within his range. By the time you're done, this team will have 20 HOF's and the '85 Bears will have nothing but scrubs, coached to greatness by the awesome power of Ditka. To even try to argue that the Lovie Smith teams are anywhere as deep talent wise as the Ditka teams is just...asinine.
