I love this time of the year. I don't get another feeling like this till pitchers and catchers report.

We have a surplus of 3b options in-house. There's no need to go outside the organization for a nostalgia trip with a crippled back.

That's a sexy haul for the Jays. Seems like a decent move for both sides.

This is aces if it's Linebrink. That's a crafty bit of salary dumping.

It's about time that we start acting like a big market team.

At the moment our bench looks to be Vizquel, Teahen, Castro, and Lillibridge, and likely Dayan Viciedo. We' might have to go out and get someone who can spell Alex in CF, because i don't know how comfortable i am with Lillbridge being thrown out there. It's actually an oddly versatile bench, but it' sucess relies on Viciedo taking a step forward and Teahen assuming career norm production.

I suspect he’ll get into the Hall of Fame now and it will be an incredibly hollow tribute. This man prostituted himself for the award year in and out, whether he was truly deserving or not, and had it denied of him. He was a bit wacky, but he was a warrior on the field and off. Rest In.Peace, Ron,
