  1. QUOTE (jasonxctf @ Jan 19, 2015 -> 03:11 PM) Have they posted the Daily Schedules for SoxFest yet? They posted a list of who is doing stuff each day but they didn't post the actual times yet.
  2. I have not been able to stop playing Destiny.
  3. QUOTE (Knuckles @ Jan 22, 2014 -> 10:50 AM) You should have no problem getting both. The way the distribute the bracelets or signing you will have plenty of time to get both. Thanks for the response. I am just worried that the line for Thome will be completely filled before I would be done getting Bo Jackson. I know that Frank Thomas and Robin Ventura tend to fill up super fast. Not really sure how well Thome will draw.
  4. They have now officially posted the schedule of seminars and autographs for Soxfest and I was hoping to get a little feedback if possible. Schedule My main question is regarding Sunday. The #1 person I would like to get an autograph from this day would be Jim Thome with Bo Jackson being 2nd. However, with Bo signing at 9:00AM and Thome signing at noon, I am not entirely sure if I would be able to get both. For those that have been to Soxfest before, do you think that Thome will fill up immedaitely? Or do you think that I would have decent luck trying for both? Any advice you could give would be appreciated.
  5. QUOTE (ewokpelts @ Dec 20, 2012 -> 01:39 PM) Only reason why i go actually. This will be my third year going. My first year I thought they weren't important and ignored them. This year I think they will be the majority of what I do.
  6. Once they release the actual signing schedule, I normally put together a spreadsheet mapping out times and players. With only being able to have one wristband at a time, you will have to make some concessions. With certain players/former players getting more attention than most, you will probably have to sacrifice other autographs. I know that last year Robin Ventura's line filled up super quick but he didn't actually sign until late afternoon. The same happened with Crede. I also wouldn't disregard the seminars. Last year there was one with players from the '05 team. It was an absolute blast. I wouldn't have thought that Cliff Politte would have been so funny.
  7. Saw this on twitter a little bit ago. ‏@peggykusinski #MLB source tells me (NBC5) internet & social media rumors re: #whitesox AJ #Pierzynski & PED suspension is UNTRUE @nbcchicago
  8. Here is what I found on Uni Watch. Any big leaguer who wants to change uniform numbers without switching teams better give eight months’ notice unless he’s willing to buy warehouses full of his overstocked jerseys. … Players must tell the commissioner’s office by July 31 of the preceding year if they want a new jersey. That is, unless ‘the player (or someone on his behalf) purchases the existing finished goods inventory of apparel containing the player’s jersey number.’ As in, every replica jersey, jacket, T-shirt, mug and anything else with a number that’s anywhere in stock.
  9. QUOTE (balfanman @ Jun 25, 2012 -> 11:38 AM) I realize that it used to, but I thought that they made a rule against doing that this year? Do you have to be in the league for so long first? From what I understand, the player changing numbers would be responsible to pay for the unsold merchandise bearing their name and number. I don't think many vendors have Danks #20 jerseys or shirts.
  10. QUOTE (Steve9347 @ Apr 17, 2012 -> 11:47 AM) Do they have a veggie burger at the Cell? Do they have any vegetarian friendly protein options there? I know they used to have a veggie burger, but that was before I cared. I know they had a veggie burger last year and this year they are supposed to have a vegetarian version of the sloppy Joe. · The Sloppy Jane - Vegan twist to a classic favorite. Tempeh, peppers and onions, with molasses and brown sugar barbecue sauce, served on a vegan wheat bun.
  11. I read online that there were a bunch of new food options but I was not able to locate some of them when I went to a game this past weekend. I searched online but was unable to find a listing. Can anyone shed some light on this? Below is the list of new items along with the sections that I have found out. If anyone could let me know what they have found as well as if they have tried any of it, it would be greatly appreciated. Balkan Dog - Section 536 Pastrami Cheese Steak - ??? Loaded Baked Potato - Around Section 120 Burger Barn (DaBurger Double Play) - Around Section 115 Owl's Nest (Hooter's Wings) - ??? Irish Nacho Helmet - Section 100 Meatball Mania - ??? Smashers (Handheld Panini) - ???

  13. QUOTE (southsider2k5 @ Apr 6, 2011 -> 07:20 AM) If it was TCQ he would have just pulled his own appendix out and then gotten back into the batters box for the next pitch. Dunn is a wimp. TCQ may have the testicular fortitude to remove his own appendix but he would probably slip on it on the way to first, jack up his foot again, and miss the rest of the season. I think he is made of paper-mâché.
  14. The Atlanta Braves have traded Minor League pitcher Kyle Cofield to the Chicago White Sox, according to FOXSports’ Jon Paul Morosi. Morosi adds that the right-handed pitcher was the No. 24 prospect in the Braves’ organization at the beginning of the 2010 season. He had a 4.47 ERA in 58 1/3 innings pitched mostly at Double-A. Cofield was on the Braves 40-man roster.
  15. QUOTE (bschmaranz @ Aug 29, 2010 -> 11:44 PM) Me too. The lady sitting next to me told me she barely got one and she got there at like 10:30 I got there SUPER early and got one. My brother's friend got there at like 11:45 and said that he got one. I guess it just depends on what gate you go in.
