Dye Coming Back? Sun-Times Article
QUOTE (fathom @ Apr 30, 2010 -> 12:41 PM) Why, the kids suck? Are you stating the kids suck or are you asking if i'm saying that?

Dye Coming Back? Sun-Times Article
When this organization reaches the conclusion that we need to bring Dye back, it's time to call-up the kids and play them everyday.

Preview of Sox MLBN Reality Show - The Club
I also see a scene that looks like KW telling Randy Williams, "It's not going to work out for you, sorry." It's depressing that this turned out to be a joke.

Preview of Sox MLBN Reality Show - The Club
Some great (and telling) moments here. We see snippets of the Thome debate, KW confessing to Ozzie that he doesn't think he has enough guys to get on-base (no duh), the Selig-Reinsdorf lunch, Sergio Santos breaking down upon being informed that he's making the team, and KW giving some badass speeches in the clubhouse. Can't wait to see more from this series. http://mlb.mlb.com/video/play.jsp?content_...opic_id=7417714

Juan Pierre loses leadoff role
QUOTE (hogan873 @ Apr 30, 2010 -> 07:48 AM) Juan Pierre is not as bad as he looks right now. Look at his career stats. I know, I know, everyone's tired of hearing about his career stats. I agree that he's absolutely brutal right now, and Ozzie is finally making the right decision by moving him out of the lead-off spot. He needs to get his head on straight and get back to what he can do. Taking the pressure of the lead-off spot away can only help. Outside of two months last year, Pierre has been the decline for the last few years. A year like this wasn't out of the question. Especially, in the A.L.

I imagine we're going to get killed tonight. I'll root for the opposite.

And that's a White Sox winner!!!
QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 05:25 PM) from cowley: BREAKING NEWS: Juan Pierre benched for tomorrow and has lost his leadoff spot when he returns to the lineup Saturday. Guillen will hit him 9 Justice is served.

And that's a White Sox winner!!!
QUOTE (The Ginger Kid @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 05:20 PM) ERA of 5.00 right now. Not good. And I'm too scared to look at his WHIP. I imagine it's creeping closer to 2. He needs to be moved after his next hot streak.

And that's a White Sox winner!!!
Floyed ended up with a great line tonight.

2010 Cubs Thread
QUOTE (Jordan4life @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 04:45 PM) I've watched about 7 Arizona games so far. That offense is no joke. Not an easy out in that lineup. Might be the second best lineup in the NL after Philly. I like A.J. Hinch, despite being baseballs Vinny Del Negro, he seems to have a good mind for running an offense. IF that pitching staff evens out they'll compete.

QUOTE (docsox24 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 04:58 PM) bite us so we win 78 games instead of 81? Three games can make or break us. It could be even more if Bobby loses his velocity again.

QUOTE (ChiSox_Sonix @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 04:57 PM) He struck out three of the four batters he faced... Great! Maybe once he stops letting men on, we can depend on him.

QUOTE (greg775 @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 04:55 PM) We're still gonna win. Relax. This is going to come back to bite us in the ass. We cannot have a closer who lets a man on every inning. His W.H.I.P is a tragedy.

I'm pretty philosophical about Jordan Danks. I think he's a good enough ball-player that coming up to the majors and k'ing his ass off, might help him make some decent adjustments. That's why i think if we're well out of it in a few months we should bring him up, hit him 9th and play him everyday.

Not looking forward to see what Vlad's going to do against a hanging curve fron Jenksy. Let's score a couple more.

QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Apr 29, 2010 -> 04:33 PM) I wonder if Danks would do better than Pierre if promoted. It really would be hard not to. I imagine he would, but he's going to K A LOT. He still got a huge learning curve.
