Viciedo's First Performance Yesterday
QUOTE (jphat007 @ Feb 27, 2009 -> 03:18 PM) He just took Garland deep. A slightly ironic, but great start to this kids homerun-hitting career.

White Sox Mount Rushmore
I say we build this mountain ten years down the line and immortalize our Hall of Famers. From left to right Dewayne Wise, DJ Carrasco, Michael Dubee, and Jerry Owens.

Red Kerr
Is this for real? This is one of the saddest days in the history of this organization. My heart goes out to everyone involved.

LOST!!!!
QUOTE (RockRaines @ Feb 26, 2009 -> 06:43 PM) This is before Jack went crazy right? And didnt it say before that he was flying those routes on a consistent basis at one point hoping he would crash? From the Season 3 Finale JACK: I've been flying a lot. KATE: What? JACK: Yeah that golden pass that they gave us. I, I've been using it. Every Friday night I, I fly from LA to Tokyo or, Singapore, Sydney. [Laughs] And then I, I get off and I, have a drink, and then I fly home. KATE: Why? JACK: Because I want it to crash, Kate. I don't care about anybody else on board. Every little bump we hit or turbulence, I mean I, I actually close my eyes and I pray that I can get back. [

ST Game 2: Sox @ Rockies (Tucson)
QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Feb 26, 2009 -> 08:18 PM) So what happens if we have more non-roster invitees play well enough to earn spots than we have spots? I imagine that means we'll never hear from Carrasco and Wise again with young(er) guys taking their place.

ST Game 2: Sox @ Rockies (Tucson)
I should of mentioned this earlier but good on Egbert for pitching well. The guy's been waiting so long to pitch in front of Ozzie and Coop and it's good to see him healthy and performing.

ST Game 2: Sox @ Rockies (Tucson)
QUOTE (joesaiditstrue @ Feb 26, 2009 -> 05:13 PM) Anyone see Slayer as a possible leadoff guy when he hits the big leagues? He certainly has shown the tools from what I've seen and heard so far I see him as more of a number #2 hitter. Hopefully, behind Jordan Danks

ST Game 2: Sox @ Rockies (Tucson)
I'm just happy to see lillbridge doing well. If i can't have Beckham yet, i want Lillibridge holding down the fort.

If Beckham's in B'ham...
I believe it came from a story about how many Georgia honey's he's had.

If Beckham's in B'ham...
Go for it. I imagine his reaction would be hilarious.

ST Game 2: Sox @ Rockies (Tucson)
Wise in CF? Are we really talking like that's a legitimate option for this team?

Stadium Tour
The New Nationals stadium is beautiful, it's just in a really poor neighborhood. Otherwise, i've been to The Cell, Shea, Old Yankee Stadium, Wrigley, and Dolphin's Stadium.

ST Game 2: Sox @ Rockies (Tucson)
I'm hearing that the Slayer and The Pimp might be playing today. And they chose not to cover this game??? I'd take getting a glimpse of the organizations future over 9 innings of Ben Broussard any day

LOST!!!!
They should just dub him over with Samuel Jackson, "Walt, stop yelling!" "I AIN'T YELLING!!! THIS IS HOW I TALK!!"

LOST!!!!
Was anyone else hping that the person on the table was Wallllllltttttttttt at the end? I suppos it was just wishful thinking that they'd tell his story. Otherwise a tremendous episode, but all Locke episodes are

Don Cooper
It starting to look like our AAA rotation will be just as interesting to watch as the MLB one. I wonder if they'll even hire a special instructor to work with Van Bendenschoten while Coop's with the big club.

Spring Training Reports
Yeah, Kroeger can hold the Center. He's got decent range, and while his arm isn't ideal it can get the job done. I think our best option would be to platoon him and Anderson out their (but 1st he has to show he can hit in spring)
