  1. Just on a sort of unrelated side note...I would really like the Sox to sign Troy Percival. I know he's been rumored to be going to Cubs or Detroit or wherever but wouldn't Marte - Shingo - Percival look awefully good to finish the game.
  2. I´ve got a better idea...I´ll drive what I want. :finger
  3. Whether they would or wouldn't...he/they should have been. I don't care if it would have tied the game, won the game, or we were down four runs. It's a hustle play and he sat there at home, watched it, then jogged down to first.
  4. Did you see it? Every infielder was in front of the pitchers mound...if he would have taken off and ran as soon as he hit it he could have been to second standing up.
  5. I normally defend Carlos on most issues but he should have been on second base there...he watched that pop up for like five seconds and then loafed down to first. There wasn't even a player to cover second base.

A Hotmail one worked for me...EBay wouldn't accept a Yahoo email but I know Hotmail works there too.
  7. Exactly...click on the link: For the IPod: http://www.freeiPods.com/default.aspx?referer=7317443 For the Flat Screen: http://www.FreeFlatScreens.com/default.aspx?referer=7329283 Complete an offer and refer five friends...once those five sign up and complete their offers you will receive the goods. By clicking on one of the links above you will count as a referal for me...so on and so forth. Hope that helps.
  8. Yeah I saw it...but it was legal regardless...at least according to the ump who was standing right there. That wasn't the play that I was upset with Burke about. A few pitches earlier they intentionally walked a guy to get the force out and then Burke allows a blockable ball in the dirt past him and the runners advance. He does the pitchers NO favors defensively and that costs you more times than you realize.
  9. If that was any one of our guys that ran over Henry Blanco you would have been yelling and cheering...it was a legal play and a good one on his part...get over it.
  10. He ran over Jamie Burke on a play at home plate like a damn freight train. It was perfectly legal and a good play on his part IMO. And for the record......get rid of Burke!!! He is terrible on defense...give me Ben Davis any day of the week.
  11. Have we seen enough of Jamie Burke yet? He might be the worst defensive catcher in the American League. And on that note he gets his s*** tossed by Torri Hunter...holy s*** did he get lit up.

Yeah as far as I can tell there are no shipping and handling charges...even if there were I am willing to pay them for that flat screen TV. Jason on the flat screen one the EBay option is the best (and I don't know how long you will be able to do it because it is now gone off the list for the IPods). If you want to give it a try I'd be grateful for the referal. http://www.FreeFlatScreens.com/default.aspx?referer=7329283 I'm gonna try to get that Toshiba Flat Screen.

This has been posted on another board but I didn't see it around here so I thought maybe some of you would want to check it out. All you have to do is complete an 'offer" (EBay is the easiest one IMO...just register and place a bid...it doesn't have to be a winning one) and then refer 5 friends. Once those five people complete there offer you get a free Ipod. Here is the link for the IPod: http://www.freeiPods.com/default.aspx?referer=7317443 And from the same deal but this time for some really nice flat screen TVs (you need eight referals instead of five): http://www.FreeFlatScreens.com/default.aspx?referer=7329283 It's a legit deal...people have said it has worked for them and there have been news articles about it. The sponsor companies (eg. GM, EBay, AOL, etc.) are reputable companies so you don't have to worry about it being a hoax. Give it a shot and it would help me out with a few referals also.
  14. Also lost 13-10 to the Phillies on June 9th... along with that 17-14 loss to the Expos on June 19th.
  15. Huge day for Lance today...but how about this stat: Today along the 9.6 mile climb there were 900,000 spectators...900,000!!!
  16. Another big day in Le Tour... In a surprising move Tyler Hamilton drops out of the race citing back problems from an earlier fall. Also, Spaniard Iban Mayo got off his bike and had to be talked into getting back on and riding...finishing back 37:40. Ivan Basso still would not go away finishing second to Lance today after a strong push in the final climb. Barring any disasters, Armstrong is in real good shape right now. Ullrich lost another 2:42 today and is now down 6:49 overall. Lance is still in second overall but only :22 seconds from grabbing the yellow jersey. A few other notes: Very impressive two days for Thomas Voeckler holding onto the yellow jersey (even if only by :22 seconds). They really need to do something about the fans on the side of the road. They get worse every year/day...and almost caused an accident on several occasions today. Greg LeMond is an idiot...enough said. The U.S. Postal team is really, really tough.
  17. Hahah...I had just gotten off the phone with my dad talking about it as well. I agree about Heras...I think he and Hamilton are in some serious trouble. The guy I can just never seem to count out is Jan Ullrich (and I don't think anyone really does...including Armstrong). You're right, CSC is going to be fun to watch...especially with the showings today by Basso and Sastre. When it comes down to it though Armstrong has to feel pretty damn good about the guys he has riding along side him. The one rider I really like watching for some reason is George Hincapie...maybe it's because he is a horse out there at 6'3" 185 lbs...huge for a rider and especially a climber like himself.
  18. Hey to each his own...I find it particularly interesting as do many others here.
  19. Basso really looked good today. At only 26 years old this guy could be a force to be reckoned with in coming years. Hamilton really looks to be struggling but I certainly wouldn't count out Roberto Heras yet and of course Ullrich. Mayo is one tough bastard in the mountains but I just don't know if he can make up for his shortcomings in the time trials...much like Heras.
  20. Royals win 3-1 with Hunter K'ing on a pitch in the dirt with men on 2nd and 3rd and two out.
  21. If you right click on the link and save the clip to anywhere on your computer and then open the file...I used Window's Media Player...it should work.
