Hahah...while that may be funny...and a little P.I...it's actually not because of their accent that "Godzilla" sounds funny coming from a Japanese person. In Japan they don't call him Godzilla...it's Gojira...which people just interpret as them saying Godzilla funny.
OK enough rambling out of me today...
I have seen enough of Jamie Burke for good. I'm all for giving Ben Davis a legit shot at the 2nd catcher spot...I don't really see Ozzie's facination with three catchers.
Brenly
Among possible replacements mentioned...the Wally Backman.
ESPNews mentioned Backman, D-Backs bench coach Robin Yount, and whoever their current 3rd base coach is as possible succesors to Brenly.
Gload is the new version of Tony Graffanino...he's great as a reserve fill-in type, but if he would play everyday you would realize he's not a starter.
I'm actually not using the $3 tickets in the outfield...I hate sitting out there...I've got tickets right down the 3rd base line about 20 rows up. I'll keep an eye out for your sign though :fthecubs and Twins
Care to elaborate???

Perhaps you are using an alternative definition of "sharp decline."
I was pissed...the only game I could make it to was Saturday's 9-1 loss. I was pretty much depressed and wanted to get out of that damn dome as fast as I could after the 9th. It really was a pretty good time though minus the baseball factor. The dome still sucks but it is a lot better with the new FieldTurf.
He used to come out to Hells Bells...and it was insane. I have only been out to Anaheim for one game but right before the 9th, in between innings right before he came out that first bell rang super loud. The entire stadium just went silent. It played the next few bells and the music started with everyone just staring out at the bullpen door. All of a sudden the door flew open and Percival came sprinting out. It was surreal...like nothing I have ever seen before. It was awesome.
Much better inning by Diaz...he at least had some bite to his curve a couple of times. Let's hope he can salvage a few more inning out of this before we go to the pen.
This is going to get ugly real fast if Diaz doesn't find something soon. His pitches are doing nothing. Absolutely NO break on his offspead stuff and just laying fastballs in there.
