so what exactly did we accomplish here? put jose in and run him up 3.1 innings, 77pitches 9 runs 8earned 2bb and 3K's, Peavy could have gone 3.1 innings done the exact same thing. OZZIE/KENNY, ITS TIME TO BRING PEAVY UP AND BE DONE WITH THE TRAIN RECK JOSE CONTRERAS. DUMP HIM SOMEWHERE WHETHER IT BE AAA OR THE MEXICAN COTTON PICKING LEAGUE WHO CARES SEND HIM PACKING.

if the sox end up 5 games or more behind detroit after this 11 game road trip, then i think its time to look at next year. if its less then 5 games then keep at it.

really, whats the difference if peavy throws 4-5-6 innings at the mlb level vs the aaa level?? id rather see peavy throw 4 innings vs jose throw anything. peavy cant be any worse then jose at this point, either way make sure dj is ready
