It was definitely a missed call but CATCH THE BALL NIX! If he catches the ball, not only is there no problem here, but we might get a double play.

Nix is so good with the glove. <_ add him to the list of people who better not be on this team next year.>

Jose still has the stuff to be a good pitcher, you see it when he throws a high fastball by somebody at 93 or 94 as he does sometimes or when he gets somebody on a good forkball like he did Teixeira there. Just doesn't have the control to do it regularly anymore.

Depending on the makeup of the rest of the team, I like Nix in the lineup somewhere. But if you need Getz as your leadoff type because it's not coming from anywhere else, then Getz is the 2B
