I’m about to the point of saying screw it and avoiding social media until I hear it being announced on my phone. It’s highly exhausting and all a bunch of garbage being flung around, I know I say I’m going to avoid it but at the same time I won’t

Boy oh boy here we go....

Don’t ya know, Jerry is cheap, RH and KW are incompetent, umm I’m sure Levine is confirming the offer is under 200 mil right now as I type. Sox can’t land any big free agents, insert some meaningless talk about players from 10 years ago, does some rocky biddle talk fit that bill; now back we go to Jerry being a cheap SOB, let’s call out our sources now for hope, now let’s lose our minds because nightengale is tweeting saying the deal on the table IS OFFICIALLY under 200 million.....: did i cover it all yet? I think you get the point can we please ppl move forward knowing that just simply isn’t true

Meltdown in 3....2....1.....

I don’t think you will hear much on the Whitesox pursuit of him until we figure out where Manny goes, if it’s to philly I think we hop right back in bed with Boras and Harper

Wasn’t directing it at you but stating the obvious that we all already know

There was never a mystery team ?

I needed a good laugh today, long day at the office but yeah it’s a vicious cycle waiting this one out.

I don’t know if he would necessarily resent signing here but i would not be surprised if he jumped at the first opt out he has to try and get a bigger pay day

Manny will sign a week before his first opt out takes effect at this point ?

Yeah no way the largest contract we’ve ever negotiated isn’t being monitored by JR from day one

Yeah no way the largest contract we’ve ever negotiated isn’t being monitored by JR from day one

I thought I watched or read something that Jerry did the negotiations for the last Konerko deal, am I correct on that?

What I hope it means is a deal is close and Jerry is coming in to make sure it gets closed versus Jerry coming in and taking over because it’s taken too long to long for him to decide

Rabbit specifically says in a reply in that tweet that it is JR not that anyone didn’t put two and two together and realized that’s what he meant

I am by myself right now and had to read this out loud ?? my boss walks in and asked me if I was okay ??

So Manny’s panic room.....should be the escape room because this never ends and the clues (twitter and it’s sources) lead us down a never ending path to nowhere, hopefully today will at least provide some clarity to what the hell is going on.

Wow, just threw up a little bit, if this doesn’t say we NEED Machado, nothing will.

No kidding, waking up to see we only talked about Jerry Owens was slightly disheartening.

He’s fake news, throwing stuff at the wall hoping it sticks

I like him as well he definitely was one of the highlights of this last year and could potentially be a spark plug for this team

I think Yolmer will be okay playing super utility man, Anderson and Moncada are the most affected here by this

It’s something ?‍♂️ I’d rather close the night with something like this than a Philly reporter saying they get both lol

No way they aren’t given an opportunity to match. Lozano is going to shop offers back and forth until someone backs out

Boom! Alonzo and Jay gonna make the difference like we’ve said it all the money being the same
