Okay so after I watched the video I just think Thome highly disagreed with his comment on everyone wanting to be a yankee, I didn’t get a sense that it was a smirk like I know something you don’t know....Thome playing is close to his vest. I thought he was very down the middle in that segment.

Anyways....next topic lol does anyone have the full video of that segment with Thome to watch out of curiosity?

Either it’s a foregone conclusion he’s signing there or he is just doing his due diligence on the other meetings and signing with us like the report said the other day....just my opinion. I believe I read somewhere on twitter that Hal Steinbrenner’s mother’s funeral was today as well so maybe that’s why it was so short ?

That makes the two of us, the level of stupidity about he’s going here or he is going there that is going to be posted will be ridiculous and no good news about the Sox with him will be posted until Friday night or Saturday more than likely.

The back and forth game is awesome! These next two days are going to be hell.....with all the Yanks to sign Machado rumors soon here to come tomorrow and then on Thursday with all the Phillies rumors as well. I’m trying to stay even keel with all of this and might just turn off the Internet until like Saturday ?

I agree, if you sign both of those guys then trade em while you got them but in my opinion it’s just hard to let go of any of them right now knowing you may need all 7 to find your 2 with our track record

People won’t believe it until they land a big fish, there will always be that stigma that the whitesox are cheap because of past history. Ownership isn’t going to get the benefit of the doubt until that happens. I personally hope/have faith it happens but we will see.

You are right 1000 percent with the bias there I’m a recruiter for my company (on the side when I’m not staring at these rumors all day in my) and a full believer in the motto of first to contact first to contract motto but still having him leave without a deal eats at my core
