QUOTE(Rowand44 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 06:12 PM) They don't teach defense in high school anymore. But you have to agree Green is a more projectible defender with his athleticism.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 06:04 PM) Any idea on where Ilic might actually be drafted??? I've seen Serbian video's of him and he is twice as good as Nenad Krstic. Early 2nd IMO

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 05:58 PM) If the Bulls are to pull of a trade and pick up a second round pick, I would love to see Ronny Turiaf in a Bulls jersey. 6-10 249, good rebounder, blocks shots. ^ Front court depth, or a big 2 That's about it.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 05:57 PM) Via NBA.com: That's 76ers, Warriors, Mavericks, Celtics, Cavaliers, and now Bucks. Why would you count the Sixers when calling him a journeymen? DENGS A JOURNEYMEN - TWO TEAMS IN ONE YEAR!

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 05:55 PM) It look's like Roger Powell might go undrafted. Would he be a viable pick-up as a back-up big man? Meh, he won't get drafted for sure and could float around between 10 day contracts and the NBDL.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 05:52 PM) I always get confused as to where he has played. He's playd like 3 years and is already a journeyman. Rockets, Warriors, Celtics, Cavs, and now Bucks. Rockets?

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 05:44 PM) Meh, not that big of a deal. Welsch was either a Rocket or a Celtic...which is it? I can't remember. I wouldn't say it's not a big deal, Welsch is pretty solid. Celtic then a Cav.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 05:14 PM) Don't put too much thought into that and don't get your hopes up. Knowck down a 12 yard kick consistently then talk to me lol. If I got paid for it, I would practice all the time and be able to do it. That's all they f***ing do. Kick the ball. Just practice that all your life and you could be good too.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 05:10 PM) ^^^ Indeed. Anytime a soccer player is deciding the outcome of an American Football game, something is wrong. You got big 300 lb. men throwing their bodies around and using physical talent for 59:55 of the game then it comes down to some 4'0" 96 lb soccer player.

QUOTE(SoxFan1 @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 05:06 PM) I don't want ot get too off-topic but yes, they are. They score more points than most actual players and the ycan win or lose a game with just 1 kick. Back to baseball... LOL - that's exactly what I hate. A joke of a football player deciding the game.

QUOTE(Kalapse @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 04:57 PM) Not to mention 24 inherited runners. With only 4 of those scoring. LOL exactly. Stop - too many good numbers to prove Politte worthy. It's a waste of time.

How's this. 3 times Politte has given up ERs. Only one time was the game close enough for it to matter. How's that? Only once has Politte nearly cost us a game with his pitching, and we won that game.

QUOTE(jerseysox @ Jun 28, 2005 -> 04:41 PM) he leads the al in saves. he has an era of 2.80. he's 21 of 24 in save opps. he pitches much more meaningful innings than politte. sorry if i failed to mention that. Meaningfull innings as in the 5 times Politte has pitched in a tie and got the win?
