I keep coming back to it. Carson Benge makes soooo much sense for the White Sox unless he's completely untouchable. Slot him into whatever OF position you want and he's an easy part of the next core. I'd be doing whatever I can to see what it takes to pry him loose in a Robert trade. Add pieces if you need to. Throw in Taylor and expand the deal if required. The fact that he hasn't been mentioned in trade rumors for Robert is crazy to me unless he's completely off the table. He fits the mold of the current regime too. Patience at the plate, can play up the middle in CF currently, left handed, and supposedly has off the charts makeup/work ethic.

Love or hate Preller, he sure makes the trade deadline fun.
