  1. But if he could play 3b still... Our lineup would be unreal. Beckham could be moved over to 2b. Thome could stay as DH. (he leads the team in OPS. still very productive) Two power lefties and AJ who is another good lefty. that would be a damn good team.
  2. He will lose the Blobby Junks nickname if he keeps that up.
  3. Ted Williams is always a candidate when Thome is in the lineup.
  4. Catfish Hunter runs away with it whenever buehrle starts.
  5. f***ing nogoodnik. looks like he is becoming his mediocre self again.
  6. please scott, dont revert back to your old self...
  7. He has the speed, range, and ability to be a GG type SS. Until he gets his head out of his ass and stops making bonehead plays, he will be the same old Perplexei Ramirez.
  8. I hope Blobby Junks is over his kidney stones. It would be nice to have him back and effective.
  9. Doug Fister? Won't even bother with a nickname. That's just too easy.
  10. Soto was in a slump and was a dead pull hitter at the time. Whether Ozzie knew this and had him play there on purpose or not, he was in the right spot.
  11. Apparently Blalock isn't playing 3b this year That kills my idea.
  12. I fixed it so it would look less confusing. Quite Frankly, that lineup would be everything but a debacle.
  13. Thats not the lineup. I just put the players according to what position they will play. The lineup is lower in my post. Stephen A. is a god among men in the sports analyst business.
  14. This is what I would go for in the offseason... 2B Beckham CF Rios RF Quentin DH Thome 1B Konerko 3B Blalock SS Ramirez C AJ LF Pods I would resign Pods since he would probably be relatively cheap.. If he can't repeat his solid average and OBP (which he most likely won't), i would stick him lower in the order. He would be a decent enough player to have, considering he will be cheap. With a near .900 OSP, Jim Thome is one of our best offensive weapons. i would bring him back. Always nice to have a power lefty. Plus he would have a chance at 600 homeruns. This would sell a good amount of tickets and make some good publicity. Hank Blalock, now this guy is the wild card. He has been suffering injuries the past few years. When he is healthy, he is a good power lefty. Two powerful lefties makes me cum (and it probably makes ozzie cum too). This is assuming he doesnt have any bad injuries though. After all, we have a miracle worker on our staff. Herm is the greatest. This is what I imagine the lineup looking like 2B Beckham CF Rios RF Quentin DH Thome 1B Konerko 3B Blalock SS Ramirez C AJ LF Pods A solid mix of lefties and righties. I think this lineup would great.
  15. But the thought of having a healthy Blalock is mind boggling... Blalock could go to 3rd and Beckham could go to 2nd... That lineup would be absolutely devastating.
  16. I don't see why the Rays would let go of Crawford. They have a team option for around 10 million for him. If for some reason they don't take that option, he will get a buttload of cash from some other team. He is having a career year.
  17. I think he will be better at SS next year, just from experience. I always think of hawk when people are talking abut Alexei's defensive capabilities. "In my 50 years in this game, I have never seen a shortstop play that close to the line in this situation. Ozzie and Joey need to help him out." *Soto grounds to Alexei and into an inning ending double play
  18. I really hope not. Quentin was a RF before he came to the white sox. I'm sure he can still play it. LF is Pods position. He is pretty bad in center... Rios is a lot more valuable in CF too... Rios in center just seems like the logical thing to do.
  19. Kenny Williams Jr. will be the best player since Carl Yastrzemski
  20. IM MON MY FOURTH SMIRNOFFF ICE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I AM FJUCKING DESTROYED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
