are these the same scouts that thought Burhle was 38th round choice.....?The only reason Beckham got moved off SS was beacuse of Alexie,and the jury is still out on Alexie.

Beckham will be cheaper then Alexie ,not that Alexie is expensive........Amd lets stop with this non sense that we cant afford Jenks........Yes we can.

Look.........Im not advocating moving Alexie,but Kenny will make a splash and Alexie is the obvious choice.By the way I think Beckham will be just fine at short.

Kenny will make a trade this off-season and the logical and or most likely to be moved are Alexie and Jenks.Im not for moving either guy for the sake of moving them.But if you can get Theo intrested it wouldnt be a bad idea to see what he might offer.

You'd get a LOT more production for less money with Beckham at SS.............And yes he (Alexie)pisses me off with his lackluster play too!

Because theres talk in Boston that they might want to explore moving him........And by the way Bobby Jenks is a very good closer and has been since 05.It takes a differnt kind of an animal to close games and he has "it".It doesnt mean he wont struggle at times, but you will see a huge differnce if we move Bobby amd Thorton attempts to close games.

Oh and I forgot Paplebons "dumbass jig" can pitch for me any time............

First off Jed Lowrie is not the answer at SS for them or anyone else....Second they have 2-3 CLOSERS better than Jenks.Please name them and NO i dont mean guys you think can close and have never done it.

I think his problem for more then a year has been his shoulder.Its not healthy enough to throw the splitter.He can throw the fastball at 93-94,but he cant put the strain on his shoulder anymore with the splitter,which was his out pitch.His fastball is straight and very hittable.Unless he gets his shoulder well enough to throw the splitter again he will be very avarage.

I dont see the Sox bidding on him at all for that money.........This is BS.

Im personaly coming around on all the new stats........I also think its important to trust your eyes also.I agree about Alexie at 2nd base,but in my mind he totaly disapointed me at SS.

What happened to your eyes? Since you need every stat known to man kind to decide wheter someone can play or NOT!! Stats are just one sample size my friend............And the EYES dont LIE.........

I see Kenny doing business with Theo this offseason..........Involving Alexi and Jenks for Pappalebon and maybe Buckholtz.....Not saying thats the exact trade but those would be the principels.

Im a Getz guy myself..........Always liked him and he should be the starter at 2nd.That being said Nix is a pretty good ballplayer and he will improve and he has the capacity to improve.I think Nix will push people for their jobs the question is where?? I personaly would like Nix at 3rd Beckham at SS and Getz at second.I would try and get something significant for Alexie and I was a big Alexie guy also.I picked him when i was on PSD to make the team out of ST 2 yeras ago.

Im not arguing all Im saying its ok for Kenny to listen to offers on Mark........To NOT listen would be stupid.

I for one could NOT live with that.........I would offer him 1 year at 2 mil, with incentives and if he says no then walk and keep on walking.

If the Red Sox did trade for him they would have PAYED him to the point of where he couldnt turn it down.I also never said that he should be traded NOW.We have a one of the best starting 4 in baseball,lets see what they can do.

The team that would have aquired Mark 2 years ago,would have singned him to a deal.Its allowed to trade for a guy in his last year and sign him.

I know but if memory serves werent we supposed get Buckholz as one of the pieces from the Red Sox?

I have a hard time seeing Mark in a differnt uniform,thats just me.I thought the time to trade him was 2 yaers ago when they were talking contract........He's value was never higher.
