Being the 4th starter would lessen his "load" a bit and Yes it would be a lot for a 4th starter,but you have to pay him anyway.I think he's lost some "stuff" also,and I belive when Danks learns to keep the change-up DOWN in the zone he will be one of the best pitchers in the league.

Totaly agree.........But i do not think Thome will be brought back, and I DONT want Giambi.

I dont totaly disagree with "kicking the tires" on the MB trade.If Kenny doesnt trade him I would make MB the 4th starter.........Peavy,Danks,Floyd,MB,and my choice would be Hudson over Freddy as the 5th starter.

There's a time for each club to make a decission on its "young core" that shouldnt be all about the money they can save.It should be about wheter they belive in the player and IMO CQ should be signed long term as well as Danks.It wouldnt be a bad idea to approach Beckham as well.

Is Blalock a FA this year? If he is I would take him over Johnson,tho I wouldnt mind Johnson as our DH,next year.........All depends on how mnay benjamins they want.

I think the biggest question mark and or worry for us Sox fans in 2010 is Rios.I belive the the season will be determind on how well he plays from day one.

I think Manny has a player option for $25 mildo,if Im not mistaken............

Linebrink for Pierre, Im not fan of at all,Don't like trading bad contracts for bad contracts and i think Linebrink will have a BIG year in 2010............He's due.

The only way I would sign Pods is for 1 year 2 mil base and incentives to DH only.I do not want him anywhere near the field.That being said we would need to get a LF and someone coming into his prime.

Thome had a nice career here and its time to move on........With JD and Thome gone we might be able to score on a single from THIRD,base now.......
