The first offer isn’t necessarily the last one. If the reported 4/$94M is true and it’s the Sox first offer it doesn’t mean that’s where negotiations will finish unless the Sox are set on that number and they aren’t willing to go any higher than that. However, the 4/$94 isn’t really a bad deal. If they are truly that far apart, sometimes it’s best to just walk away and not overpay if the other party is asking for way more than you want to pay or what the market is set at. If it’s meant to be, it’s meant to be. The Sox have other needs and interests just like the other party does.

I wouldn’t mind this at all but I’m kind of on the fence between trading for a RF or just signing one in free agency. There are better options out there via trade after Springer however are they willing to give up a couple of there core pieces? I’m just not convinced yet the Sox are willing to do that but things can change rather quickly.

Guys, I had to take a couple days off from posting anything on here and also I was with my family the whole day for Thanksgiving. Quite frankly, I was getting too hyped up from all the twitter nonsense and needed a break. I apologize if I was very defensive a couple nights ago. Not how I wanted to across as but I didn’t appreciate that I was being accused by some of you that I’m those food accounts because I post those tweets on here quite a bit. Did it ever come across that may be a couple of those accounts are a couple 17 year old kids messing around or some random posters on the internet acting like idiots and playing tricks? If you really think that I’m one of those accounts, than that’s your opinion but it will come to light eventually who those accounts belong to but they are definitely not me. I actually think it’s hilarious that an account called Nancy’s Pizza is saying that I am Al’s Cheesy Beef, Portillos and Not Cishek but than turns around and responds to Portillos by saying good job WSD. Can I say troll!!!! Anyways I want to wish everyone a Happy Thanksgiving since I was gone for two days. Just enjoy the weekend with your families and don’t worry about what some trolls on the internet are saying.

So who do you guys think PortillosHamburger, Al’s Cheesy Beef and Not Steve Cishek are? I know that some people think they are posters on this board but just want to get your thoughts on it. I dugged down further into Portillos account and found a twitter account from someone that is claiming that Portillos is taking or stealing information from him and the followers are really ripping into Portillos. Don’t know if it’s legit or not.

We might actually see more three or four team trades this offseason.

The Sox have no use for Andrus and why would they take on his contract when they can use the money in free agency to sign players.

Teams are trying to offload there terrible contracts in trades. Must be because of COVID.
