  1. does anybody remember the epic poster who took over the thread about girlfriends/wives of white sox players? cant remember his name.
  2. Cleveland Indians at Chicago White Sox Welcome to another game at beautiful US Cellular field. "Mercy" Brought to you at Comcast Sports Net In the top left corner, starting for the Cleveland Indians at 6-3, 215 pounds, Jake Westbrook. On the bottom right corner, Mr. Perfect, standing at 6-2 300 pounds, Mark Buehrle Today's Pitching Matchup Mark Buehrle: Mark reminds me more and more of Catfish Hunter each and every day. Catfish could beat anybody out there. Jake Westbrook: A well located fastball is the best pitch in the game. Westbrook can do this. Watc- "Oh my goodness! Is that who I think it is?!" "Ultimate warrior has come running in!!" "In my final meeting with the gods from the heavens above, as they spoke to me and hit me with the power of the Ultimate Warrior, they told me 'Exit stage left! Exit stage right! There is no place to run; all the fuses in the exit signs have been burned out! Hennig, I want you. Feel the power of the Warriah!" This should be an interesting matchup today folks!
  3. The gods in the Heavens above granted me with the power of the Ultimate Warrior. How dare you doubt the strength, will, and power of the Warrior...
  4. im not the only stoned one who enjoys pizza hut in this thread
  5. lets do it team! if we can put our mind to it, anything is possible! post 1!!!
  6. I thought it was a throwing concern, then I learned that he had a GROWING concern.
  7. might as well convert him while he's young
  8. 10 games back? sorry, but that is ridiculous. the loss of the dome wont hurt them much. they completely changed their lineup since then. they are full of power hitter who will thrive in their new park. their offense is much, much better than ours now. sadly, i see the twins beating us by 3 games.
  9. i expect to be next in line
  10. predicting that anybody would throw a no hitter is pretty bold
  11. I don't put any value into BA. It doesn't give bigger hits like doubles, triples, or homeruns any extra value, and it doesn't count walks. Adding walks into the equation alone give it much more value, hence OBP. A walk is just as good as a single. I'm sure you have seen something like this before. http://projectprospect.com/article/2009/07...stats-with-runs I just don't even bother with avg anymore. OPS is way better at evaluating how talented the hitter is.
