  1. There's another one. 1-2 count to a guy without an official AB this year. Base hit.
  2. Omar wasn't clutch here either.
  3. I tell you what...Toronto is constantly 1-2 and 2-2 and our pitchers are having the toughest time putting these guys away.
  4. Coopers climbing the of Toronto guys I'd like to punch.
  5. Toronto has played some crap defense in this series.
  6. QUOTE (justBLAZE @ Jun 7, 2012 -> 07:25 PM) Guys are pounding the ball early. Good sign. Yes...but you never know when that sinker is gonna start becoming effective. Sox need runs while it's not.
  7. Sinker has been up so far for Alvarez...Sox need to get on him.
  8. Rasmus is just one ugly motherf***er.
  9. Rasmus started the series at .226. Steps in at .247 here.
  10. Looks like another pretty good crowd just judging by the camera scan of the field.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 10:04 PM) He hit two balls hard tonight. He'll be fine, but Alexei is just having a miserable season. I can't remember the last time I've even raised an eyebrow when Lexi has hit a ball in the air. He has shown absolutely zero power this season.
  12. 3rd shutout for Morrow already this season. 5th time the Sox have been shut out.
  13. If the Sox would have made Morrow work like this in the 7th or the 8th he wouldn't still be in the game.
  14. The Sox just don't need 3 lefties in the pen. All season in games like this, where the Sox are trying to just stay in a game, we have to trot Santiago and Ohman out there for full innings because we can't waste or core bullpen guys in catchup games...and game in game out 2 run deficits turn into 5 and 6 run deficits and we can't even hope for a comeback. Just get rid of one of them and bring up Bruney or Axelrod. They would have a better chance at holding the opposition than Santiago or Ohman.
  15. Bautista gonna be swinging out of his shoes here.
  16. Why Toronto isn't bunting here with a speedster like Davis hitting and more insurance sitting at first base with no one out is beyond me...another run here would be game over virtually.
  17. Wouldn't surprise me to see Morrow in the 9th.
  18. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 09:30 PM) Absolutely terrible strategy this inning. Also means you can't hit for Flowers if you want to. I don't hate the hit-and-run on 1-0 there. The probability of Alexei grounding into a double play there was really good...3 ground outs tonight now.
  19. The opposite of last season...bad things just seem to happen when Lilli is in the game.
  20. If Lexi hit's into a DP...I'll...I'll...
  21. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 09:19 PM) He may be done. I would assume no way he's done with their pen. He's only at what? Low 90's in pitches?
  22. QUOTE (Baron @ Jun 6, 2012 -> 09:15 PM) How long before the rebuild crowd comes back? Because they've lost 2 in a row? I would hope a little while...
