  1. Gotta love the fight the Sox put up til the 27th out this season.
  2. O-DAWG! 11-9...If one more guy can just get on. It'll be Adam time.
  3. QUOTE (Balta1701 @ Jun 10, 2012 -> 03:48 PM) DFA Nate Jones, he's hot garbage. Because that's what I was saying...Stewart just gave up a 2-run homer and I said the lead could be 8 or 9-6 (which it would be if not for that homerun). I was completely giving Jones a pass for today because he's gonna have rocky outtings from time to time. It's funny how people are so quick to jump on innocent posts...there are posters who are overly critical of the team, but there are also posters who just who just can't wait to call out others, which is just about as annoying.
  4. Man I wish we had some guys in the pen who could hold the deficit for a few innings. Could be 8 or 9-6 right now. Same deal as Friday. A 4-3 games turns into 8-3 in a blink of an eye.
  5. Nothing like 3 pitchers in an inning in a 7 run game in the 8th...
  6. QUOTE (TitoMB @ Jun 10, 2012 -> 03:35 PM) Don't DFA Floyd. Put him on the DL. DFA Stewart and Humber, let Quintana take one of their spots. Who steps in for the other starter spot? You don't DFA Humber or Floyd. You keep trotting Gavin out there and assume that at some point he's gonna go through one of his hot stretches. You keep Humber in the bullpen as the new long guy, and you won't have to make a roster move in a double-header situation or DL'd starter. Humber could move right into those spots.
  7. QUOTE (Jake @ Jun 10, 2012 -> 03:32 PM) Found them! Meet John Danks and Jose Quintana Could be true. Humber could slide in and be the new Stewart. He would be servicable in Stewarts current role. I think at this point it's gonna be pretty damn hard not to keep starting Quintana with the way Floyd and Humber have been throwing.
  8. QUOTE (Real @ Jun 10, 2012 -> 03:31 PM) forget about Youkilis, we need to find a couple starters Yes...One starter and one more bullpen arm. Give me that over a third baseman. I would rather watch Orlando struggle at 3rd than watch a team like Houston come in here and homer 8 times in 3 games.
  9. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Jun 10, 2012 -> 03:29 PM) And a walk. I blame myself. Figures. Can't even take a good Stewart outting out of this.
  10. QUOTE (jeffro2525 @ Jun 10, 2012 -> 03:27 PM) 5 up 5 down for Stewart. Doing a good job throwing strikes. Not getting behind. And a walk. I blame myself.
  11. 5 up 5 down for Stewart. Doing a good job throwing strikes. Not getting behind.
  12. QUOTE (Soxfest @ Jun 10, 2012 -> 03:15 PM) Let Stewart finish it no matter what. Might as well bring Ohman in for an inning to see if he can approve upon his ERA vs. a team thats just gonna be hacking for numbers their last 6 outs.
  13. Glad to see Will Ohman practicing fancy catches on return throws from his catcher as he warms up in the bullpen.
  14. For f***sake that's pathetic. just plant your ass at the base and plan on never advancing if you can't score on that.
  15. Not diggin' the 3-0 green light down 5 runs when we need baserunners.
  16. Boy...it doesn't appear as if Snyder can hit or catch.
  17. Unlike previous years...the Sox aren't gonna quit fighting.
  18. Well. It's not 10-0. But 10-1 will work I guess. GO SOX.
  19. Hawk doesn't even want walks with the score 10-1 with 2 out in the 9th. That man hates walks.
  20. Sox see Stewart warming up and they put the foot the gas. Way to swing it Donkey.
  21. Wow...nice knock from Jordan against a guy who made AJ look like an idiot.
  22. Sox can always count on DeAza. RBI hit. Sox lead 1-0. Bases still loaded. NOBODY out.
