  7. QUOTE (onedude @ Jan 26, 2014 -> 09:00 PM) True Detective is an extremely well written and acted show with an engaging story. 2 weeks for the next episode... McConaughey's character is awesome.

  12. QUOTE (Brian @ Jan 20, 2014 -> 01:27 PM) Yes, that girl in a true Detective. Maybe the nicest rack I've seen on TV. Alexandra Daddario. I would have to agree.

  15. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 9, 2014 -> 10:16 AM) So one reason I love console games more than PC games, despite my preference for keyboard/mouse over a controller: not having to spend hours "fixing" a game that I just downloaded. I got the Max Payne 3 package deal from Amazon for 6.99 last week. After taking a full day to download, I was excited to play it last night. I click on the shortcut and boom, immediate failure. Something about not being able to find a game key. Literally 2 hours of internet searching and basically hacking my way into the game later, I was able to play it. By then it was 11pm and I had no more energy. With a console you stick the disc in and play. No bulls***. I love PC gaming on Steam. I'm surprised more people don't give up their consoles. I can't imagine playing FPS games with a controller. That has to be one of the worst examples of recent titles though, since it requires all this just to get up and running: "Steam account required for game activation and installation. Initial activation requires internet connection and a valid Rockstar Social Club account (13+ to register); Online play requires log-in to Rockstar Social Club (13+); software installation required including GameShield IronWrap; DirectX and Microsoft Visual C++ 2008 SP1 Redistributable Package (x86)." Generally, you just pop in a Steam code and download and play. Also you can't beat Steam sales.
  16. QUOTE (Chilihead90 @ Jan 13, 2014 -> 03:09 PM) True Detective was pretty interesting. I like the format of how it takes place in near-present day, but all the stories seem to be flashbacks to the past. Keeps it all a mystery, outside of the characters obviously surviving each story. It wasn't a terribly exciting pilot, but it planted some seeds. I'll keep watching. Apparently, there's only 8 eps. So should be interesting. The pilot wasn't bad.
  17. QUOTE (scs787 @ Jan 11, 2014 -> 06:47 PM) Well that was fun. Colston needs to brush up on his rugby. rofl so strange... if he just would have run out of bounds. instead he chucks a forward pass rofl
  18. QUOTE (RockRaines @ Jan 11, 2014 -> 03:42 PM) Ugh. I still hate that that's illegal. Shoulder contact, head up. he got annihilated
  19. QUOTE (BigSqwert @ Jan 10, 2014 -> 03:16 PM) Anyone check out Spoils of Babylon? I DVR'd it. I was hoping it'd be great, considering the cast. I turned it off 3/4 through the 2nd ep. I saw many good reviews, maybe it's just me.
  20. QUOTE (Jenksismyb**** @ Jan 10, 2014 -> 10:13 AM) Lena Dunham apparently went off on a reporter who had the gall to ask her why she's naked all the time in her show. About time someone told her to cover up. Yuck. it's kind of funny to have such polar opposites on the same show. allison williams who won't do nudity, and lena who will be naked for the whole ep.
  21. QUOTE (lasttriptotulsa @ Jan 5, 2014 -> 07:05 PM) You guys are a bunch of whiners. They havent called anything on either team all game so get over it. i'm waiting for them to call something when it matters
