ST: 3/8 vs Rockies
O and whoever mentioned Aaron Rowand I highly doubt it and don't want him over teahan. Thanks for 05 and you were my favorite player on the team but he is making 12 mil the next two years (compared to the 10 for teahan) and at 33 coming off a season with 102 games due to injury and performance what do you expect out of him besides the continuance of declining numbers and defense?

ST: 3/8 vs Rockies
Teahen is not going anywhere. I think he actually may be valuable as the utility type guy. Think Mark derosa, fills in almost everywhere, nowhere great due to his inability to throw the ball from third to first, but if someone goes down he can suffice for a bit. He's also still 29 so even though hes overpaid maybe he comes into his own in that type of role. Milledge has the most upside but I think lillibridge makes the most sense. Sure milledge and de aza are fast enough to pinch run but I think the threat of a sb is only there with brent which oz could push for and he is more versatile. That being said how many extra infielders are needed with teahan and vizquel able to play the 4 positions between the two. I also do not think viciedo should make the team. Store him in the minors and if CQ or when CQ gets hurt bring him up. Let him develop into a position instead of rotating him around.

That is very little speed to come off the bench. Milledge only had 5 sbs last year compared to lillibridges 16. Just sayin cause that could come into the decision

MLBN lists
Does martinez and benoit really lift detroit from a .500 team to the 5th best team in the league? I guess guillen is coming back as well but they still have alot of question marks. Even with all the arms the twins lost i still put them above the tigs.

White Sox Off-Season Catch All Thread
I agree that there are other starters at a similar or even younger age better than danks. I guess I can't think james or jackson because prior keeps popping up in my mind. I would probably take the risk as well based on long term potential but it would be tough to do right now with an aging team with a narrow window.

White Sox Off-Season Catch All Thread
Tommy john has claimed young pitchers before. For right now looking at the next 3 years or so i dont know if its that easy. He has the same mechanics with the inverted w and alot of arm action. Injury is the only thing that would scare me out of a lol yes
