  1. Just remember guys...giving up 2 homers to the Cubs does not make it a bad outing.
  2. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 18, 2012 -> 08:14 PM) Really? Bleacher tickets are usually among the pricier tickets. Maybe it's different because nobody is going to games anymore. Yeah its 38 bucks for general admission. Everything else in in the 70-90 range. (this is for July 30th to August 1st against the Pirates).
  3. QUOTE (LittleHurt05 @ Jun 18, 2012 -> 08:11 PM) It's bleacher seating with no backs. You enter in the outfield and can't access the other parts of the ballpark. More of party atmosphere, good place to get drunk and look at chicks on a summer day. Im all for drinking and looking at hot chicks. Its a little bit expensive to get seats anywhere else.
  4. Im thinking about going to my first game at Wrigley. How is general admission there?
  5. QUOTE (southsideirish71 @ Jun 18, 2012 -> 07:50 PM) Do you really think we are a pitcher away from printing playoff tickets. Did I say that?
  6. Hey but some people on here would rather roll with this garbage pitching than give up any of our wonderful prospects.
  7. Alexei!!!! No team would take that guy if he was on waivers!
  8. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 18, 2012 -> 06:08 PM) It's actually going to be interesting to see how long Quintana can pitch this well, to the point where we can start debating "does he have more value to another team versus what we could get for flipping him at his highest possible value?" I doubt he'll be traded, though. And it's equally compelling to see how hard they'll push Quintana against any kind of perceived "innings limit" vis a vis Sale, the most valued property in our organization. Both of them might have to be shut down in August/September. You ride Sale/Peavy/Q as long as you can, try to fix Humber in the pen and then try more minor league "band aids" while waiting out a move for a pitcher in a similar situation to Floyd's whose rights you could control into 2013 but who doesn't have to stay on your payroll indefinitely. And then there's the big elephant in the room, what's wrong with Danks? Something is clearly wrong with Danks. I dont like how these MRI results havent been disclosed yet.
  9. Chris Beck was selected by the White Sox in the 2012 Amateur Draft. He is a 6-3 right handed pitcher out of Georgia Southern. Here is an article written after we drafted him. http://www.suntimes.com/sports/baseball/wh...-mlb-draft.html Here is a scouting report. http://baseballprospectnation.com/2012/04/...chris-beck-rhp/
  10. Im actually interested to see how Stewart pitches. Not expecting a complete shelling.
  11. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 06:10 PM) Well, Happy Fathers Day everyone. This clearly sucked, but nothing more to say about that debacle. Meh in the end its just a game. Life moves on and we play the Cubs on Monday.
  12. QUOTE (fathom @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 06:05 PM) Terrible, this one is on Ventura. Hooray for rookie managers. Wasnt this to be expected? Its either Robin or the guy who likes Fidel Castro.
  13. QUOTE (caulfield12 @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 06:04 PM) Aided greatly by AJ's defensive apathy. But that wasn't yesterday, it was Friday night. Ah crap my bad
  14. QUOTE (Dick Allen @ Jun 17, 2012 -> 06:01 PM) When the LF plays a single into a triple blame the pitcher. Clearly that goes on both. Its not like Matt didnt have a game ending Wild Pitch yesterday.
