Q threw the ball well in spring giving up just 5 hits in 13.1 IP 17 Ks & a 2.03 ERA while Beaven gave up 29 hits 5 homers in 19.1 IP struck out 12 with a 6.52 ERA. Hopefully all that carries over!!! GO GET EM Q!!!

Eduardo Escobar is off to a very nice start in Minny (EARLY) but .500 average & 3 RBIs. I just have a feeling he is gonna be a typical Sox killer this season in a Twins uni.

Evan Gattis of the Braves first hit in the big leagues is a homer. Was a 26th round draft pick & gave up on baseball & was living in his car in the Rocky Mountains doing random jobs at a ski resort.....his dad was being interviewed as he hit the homer & was really excited. Very cool. Baseball is just amazing.

GREAT game. Peavy pitched his tail off & the pen did their job. Would be nice if the first 2 in the order get on base a bit more tomorrow for the boppers.
